Da, tovarich. So have the democrats. You have learned well Josef.
O’Brien has said we’re not going past August 1, no exceptions
Well ours is on Sunday at 2 diff locations about 45 mins apart from eachother. I don't see how that's being in anyone's face. I don't understand why they just can't do it at a rally at the building on a work day.Bc they probably don’t think a lot of people will vote. This way you are in their face and most will use the convenience of it to vote. At least that’s what I think
I believe that’s what authorizing a strike vote does, takes away the members ability to view any contract or offer. We went on strike in 97 and we didn't even vote on the contract
I don’t think the company will want a strike vote on their property.Well ours is on Sunday at 2 diff locations about 45 mins apart from eachother. I don't see how that's being in anyone's face. I don't understand why they just can't do it at a rally at the building on a work day.
No that's not it at all.I believe that’s what authorizing a strike vote does, takes away the members ability to view any contract or offer.
They should do it during the PCM. LOLI don’t think the company will want a strike vote on their property.

Just from reading the notices on BC..they will be at the members' parking lots on a given time and day in order to collect more votes. For our potential members who work in a RTW state and selected not to pay dues it would be a great time for them to join, I do not believe they will be eligible for any strike pay if it comes down, on second thought maybe we do not want them ... considering...
“the union insisted that its members won’t return to work unless the package delivery giant creates more full-time jobs and drops a pension proposal.”We got a 15% raise over 5 years during the contract.
Not counting all the other wins
That is correct“the union insisted that its members won’t return to work unless the package delivery giant creates more full-time jobs and drops a pension proposal.”
Ironically, a few years later, the union asks the company to bail out numerous pension plans, and also taking the members of the central states plan into the company plan if I’m not mistaken.
I don’t think the company will want a strike vote on their property.
Ok yeah that's where ours are. Union hall and a hotel.
No that's not it at all.
The union did not put up the inferior offer 97 because it was horrible.
We took a strike for the last couple contracts we got the vote on them.
It's a bargaining tool and the union needs us to give them the strike vote.
They should do it during the PCM. LOL
Not sure how many days there are until August 1, but if a Strike vote is done so frequently, and the response is always Yes…doesn’t it actually lose any usage that may have been intended? It's a bargaining tool and the union needs us to give them the strike vote.
I honestly do not know why they waited so longNot sure how many days there are until August 1, but if a Strike vote is done so frequently, and the response is always Yes…doesn’t it actually lose any usage that may have been intended?
It’s predictable and the outcome is predictable. What people REALLY choose do do when they’re faced with the REAL decision May be different.
So, a Strike Vote is part of the process. Maybe the IBT forgot that and are now rushing to “ check that box”?
Was it like this back in 97?I honestly do not know why they waited so long
Lots.of solidarity and lots of public supportWas it like this back in 97?
