So everyone with seniority right now will be at 23.75 minimum..Look like yes .... aug/1/2023 $21×hr but the $2.75 in 2023 might be split or not , anyhow by jan/1/2024 you will be at $23.75× hr

Ya it’s probably whichever is more..You will not get the $21 and the 2.75.
I believe you are wrong, 21 is the new starting pay rate and the 275 is a raise. They’ll get both . I’ll check back when I read a printed contractYou will not get the $21 and the 2.75.
This. I agree, they came to an agreement within 2 hours today, seems to me it was signed sealed and delivered on the 5th, this was all show, for various reasons, show Amazon, show FedEx, make it appear as if we forced them to pay up in order to sell this to the members.PT raises were a given, and $21/hr isn't earth shattering. There are areas ALREADY paying more through MRA's.
The more I think about this, the more I think UPS probably feels and is the winner here.
The way this played out, the things we "won," they're all things UPS knew were coming.
It really seems like the negotiations 'fell apart' on the 5th not because UPS wasn't willing to give what we wanted economically, but more so because they were willing to, and probably more, but they had to appear like we were forcing them.
It was suspect then, and it's suspect now.
The key words in the release are no less than 21. That is the same way it has been written in contracts past.Ya it’s probably whichever is more..
Isn’t the $2.75 now the cola?9-5 language, pension, COLA?
I believe you would get $2.75 tacked on to your current $18, totaling $20.75. Since you are guaranteed to make no less than the current minimum, which will be $21, you would get the additional .25 cents to go to $21.If you are at $18 an hour now, do you get bumped to $21 and then also get the $2.75 on top of that?
That was my point. Lots of PTers, for probably all of them working from 1 month in to 10 years getting the 2.75 doesn’t bring them to $21 or it’s just a hair over it. So the entire “reward long term part timers” argument that went on for weeks led to just getting a one time possible up to $1.50 on top of the GWI, which I already said for most the GWI is swallowed up in the new 21 minimum. I’m glad it was good for newbies. No from me thoThe key words in the release are no less than 21. That is the same way it has been written in contracts past.
If the 2.75 does bring you to 21 you can make no less and are raised to the 21.
Now you can be replaced easier. That was my point. Lots of PTers, for probably all of them working from 1 month in to 10 years getting the 2.75 doesn’t bring them to $21 or it’s just a hair over it. no crack....there should be a choice like rtw......its a good win win win contract......for once the pters are being treated with respect.......prior the fters were very condescending toward the pters......Sean did a great job folding the pters into the teamsters......ups and the teamsters are better companies for this new attitude.....Crack pipe today? Yesterday you said the teamsters need to be gotten rid of. Your a strange dude.
That is coming. The company will invest in automation. Now you can be replaced easier.
I want no part of any neurosurgeon who works for $50/hour. My body, my choice.I love seeing the FT drivers on Reddit screaming that they want $50/hr NOW. Yes, this is hard work, no you're not a neuro-surgeon.
Last couple days you said he was a piece of crap. I don’t think you have a clue what you’re talking about and I think you’re usually drunk or stoned or both when you’re on here.no crack....there should be a choice like rtw......its a good win win win contract......for once the pters are being treated with respect.......prior the fters were very condescending toward the pters......Sean did a great job folding the pters into the teamsters......ups and the teamsters are better companies for this new attitude.....

Newer drivers absolutely got screwed over. Part timers are now getting $4 raises by me, so with us only getting what is is $2.75, drivers at the low end are now even closer to part timersA lot of members, if not most didn't expect this amount of wage increase, perhaps especially with the other gains made. This is the biggest set of raises in decades. So even if it technically falls short of recent inflation, I really thought drivers would be screwed over to catch part timers up. Both ended up winning.
New hires get competitive wages now too.Well ya know what to all the part timers complaining they also agreed to create 7500 new full time positions and fill the 22,500 open ones so either keep crying or start that full time progression . This is either your career , or your part time job. Your choice
