Unfortunately being executor of two estates if there’s more than a couple of Family members involved they will fight over the dumbest items you would not believe.

Weren’t you just suggesting she wouldn’t walk away because her parents ran the site?

I am sure that she feels some sort of obligation to keep it going in her parents' memory but if it were anyone else she would do all that she could to walk away.

And wouldn’t your continued presence on BC not be “staying true” to the “original purpose of the site” if “staying true” to it is what you’re saying it is?

I never conversed with Cheryl or Tony about their "legacy", (being BC), but how is everyone so certain that it meant so much to her after the reality of the meager revenue it generated, the unwanted headaches it caused, and the effort to maintain it given the 1st two things I just mentioned, that it must continue?
Their daughter probably has enough to worry about and if I was her advisor, I'd say pay the bills until the end of the month and move on to what is important. I also am on here most days and come here for entertainment and to argue with the leftists. LOL

There's probably only chump change in it because there are many other sites that are much more frequented to make a $ off an Ad view. There's no emotional attachment here for Cheryl's daughter. It's just a "thing" that needs attention among many other more important things that need attention...

I'd advise her to focus on her own life and forget some low value website. Her Mom probably had things with a lot of sentimental value. This website probably isn't one of them...
