THE TRUMP 2024 THREAD

Imagine being gay in 2024 and actually thinking you're some kind of oppressed minority. Lol.
Imagine believing a group with less civil rights than yourself has “special rights” or “extra rights” in a country that denies them the most basic equality as citizens.

As a supporter of gay rights I'd like to know how gay people are denied the most basic equality as citizens.

We don’t let them eat in the same restaurants, and they have to sit in the back of the bus. They also can’t use the same water fountains.
Actually, none of that’s true and since gay marriage has been passed, they’re more than welcome to be just as miserable as straight married people. And it sounds like many of them are still miserable for some reason. I think they fell it. Now we can all be unhappy together. 😉

Don't forget about the pink stars they are forced to have on their clothes

I’ve posted it multiple times in this thread. Not all civil rights apply to gays on a federal level and are tossed to states on a state level.
That is inequality if someone asks how gays are not treated equally in this country.
That is an argument against people claiming “gays have special rights” when complaining about what civil rights do apply to gays.

Gays have less rights than Christians, that is just a fact of law.

He won’t tell you, but he’ll give you a thumbs down, the same thing he gets mad at DIDO for doing lol. Doesn’t even see his own hypocrisy.

Am I protected from discrimination in public accommodations, like shops and restaurants?

Your rights

There is no federal law that bans discrimination based on sexual orientation or gender identity in public accommodations, like restaurants, theaters and other businesses. However, state and local laws where you live may ban this kind of discrimination.

I have posted this exact passage multiple times in this thread, you people ignore it and keep moving in circles pretending the civil rights are equal in this country.

Public accommodations is the stand out one that doesn’t apply to LGBT at all on a federal level.

You mark it as funny after lying here, go ahead and punch a sentence from that aclu quote into the search bar bud.

It has been posted multiple times in this very thread already. This is like the third or fourth time I have quoted the exact civil right that gays don’t have.

It wasn’t until 2020 they received employment discrimination protection on a federal level.

My guess is you’ve never been thrown out of anywhere because you’re gay. If you’ve been thrown out of anywhere, it’s because of your behavior. Same as anyone else.

You don’t hear me complaining that there’s no provision for fat people to go wherever they want without being thrown out! How about airlines charging for two seats because of my fat ass? 😂

That isn’t the point.
The point is it would be illegal for them to do that to a Christian, it wouldn’t be illegal for them to do to a gay, depending on state and local law.

There isn’t a single state in this country you are allowed to do that to a Christian, that isn’t the case for lgbt people.

You’re asking me to provide evidence LGBT are not treated equally under law in this country, do not have rights Christians have and I did.

And yet you work the same job I do and have the same benefits. Same opportunities I do, nothing in life is perfect. And yes, I think it’s hilarious because you picked the most obtuse thing possible. Businesses are in business to make money. They don’t care if it’s gay or not.

I guess you could Sue a cake maker? Of course we all know they just sued that person because they were Christian not because they wanted a cake.

The ACLU is a fraud organization. I’m sorry that you look to them for your answers and validation.

Perhaps you should post these thoughts of yours and these grievances of yours in the thread it belongs in LGBTQ? This thread is for bitch about Trump. You know, The guy who just picked a gay treasury secretary.

Religion is a protected constitutional item. I hate inform you It’s not just Christians..

Could a gay bar throw me out for not being gay? My guess is yes, even though they probably would never say that was the reason.
