THE TRUMP 2024 THREAD

El Correcto

god is dead
I would agree with you on this. And also,in this instance, I believe Trump has more authority than Joe Biden had to continue doing what he did. Although I do not believe Joe Biden would’ve been impeached by his own party.
I don’t disagree that most of these people need to go. I’m just curious how many will end up collateral damage in these round ups.

Im just curious how much of this is an expensive show of force, dog and pony show for the supporters and how much good it is actually gonna accomplish.

Seems like a bunch of short term minded actions to boost his supporter’s morale to me with his failures abroad and economically holding back his poll numbers.

Thats possible, but I believe he was voted in to send a lot of these criminals home. Many of the ones being sent home and argued about on these planes are pretty bad people.
Like we discussed the only real issue ignoring this ruling would be if he feels he’s going to be impeached, which I very seriously doubt or if the American people have decided they want these people to stay and vote against Republicans in the next election or in the next presidential election.

Other than that, there’s really little the judicial branch can do to a president.

I would agree with you that Stephen Miller’s assessment that they can’t make a “ruling” is probably not accurate. I think it was more that they can’t enforce the ruling. And I believe the argument Miller makes about the president authority to do this is valid.

Sorry, but I don’t care anymore.

Miller was referring to the 1789 law. It’s pretty specific. The court can’t interfere with it. I believe it even prohibits them from doing so. Miller is not dumb, he won’t say something he doesn’t know to be true. Those scumbags are going back.

Yes, absolutely Miller is correct about that law. I just am not sure about the judicial review part. I agree it was pointless to review it, but maybe they have a right to. What they don’t have the power to do is stop what the president is doing. That is not their role.

and when they tried to hit him with that's an old law argument he countered with the Constitution is even older

Where in the Constitution dies it say the president's duty to repel invasions is up for judicial review?
I think the play on words the left is using is who can prove it’s an invasion? The previous administration almost welcome them certainly did not stop them. I think the better question is was the previous administration so derelict or worse in their duties to stop these people that they almost invited them and therefore we have an administration that was treasonous?

No doubt they rolled out the red carpet. When you send planes to these countries to pick up hundreds of thousands then your intent is to circumvent the law and bring in as many as possible while you can before someone puts the brakes on it.

I find it interesting we’re fighting this fight from the back end and not the front end. 🤷‍♂️

Not sure what you're inferring. Do you think Republicans put up very mild resistance during Biden's term? The Dems had control of the presidency and the Congress his first two years. After we gained the House all they could do is hold hearings. They sent criminal referrals to the DOJ that were ignored by Garland. They impeached Mayorkas but Schumer shut that down. One thing is certain. So many have been let in that Trump and Homan will be busy enough trying to get the criminals out. Most of the new arrivals are likely here to stay. If manufacturing is restored there's our workforce keeping wages down competing with citizens.

I’m saying, why aren’t they going after the previous administration for treason as well as kicking these people out? if they allowed them in purposely knowing there was an invasion and Americans died because of it. They should be prosecuting that. To the extent they can.

How do liberals “push” homosexuality? Be specific.
You can't be serious. Gay marriage, trans rights, attacking Christian business owners who don't want to go along, drag queen shows for kids.

The funny thing is there are gay conservatives who do more to gain acceptance by the Right than those on the Left ever could. Those on the Left want to promote a decadent, in your face lifestyle that we absolutely find unacceptable. I still think it's wrong, but I'm willing to listen to Dave Rubin or Guy Benson or Tammy Bruce discuss politics. They don't seem to have a need to poke everyone in the eye with their sexuality every ten seconds. Democrats on the other hand want to use identity politics to get votes by constantly attacking the Right on the issue.

I believe something on that is coming. If it doesn't then all of this is window dressing. But it does take time. Remember the previous administration was using the asylum laws as cover. Takes time to build the case that this was all orchestrated for one end, to give Democrats an edge in voting. And where they're likely to nail them is using taxpayer funds to enable this.

So gay and trans people want to be accepted with full rights in a free society and to you that’s “pushing” homosexuality?
