Any recommendations for mini bolt cutters? Something in the 8-10 inch range.


I hear great things about knipex but don't want to drop that kind of dime.

Can't say I've had much need for bolt cutters. Look for American made is probably all I can offer there.

I've got 2 different sizes and the small one has cob-webs on it. Its almost worthless. They aren't top of the line ones though.

Lol no a mini pair. Not just dykes but mini bolt cutters.

Heard they are much easier on the hands for cutting large quantities

You want bolt cutters for cutting fence wire? The fence pliers already have a cutter for that.

Fence pliers are a great 1 in many tool to carry while fixing some fence but if I'm cutting barbed wire all day long I would rather use something easier on the hands.

Just don't let yourself get scratched by any galvanized wire. It doesn't heal well and tends to leave scars.
