Our Pension is in good shape and Im hearing it might be going up to $4000 in this next contract. Our union's finances have improved since once bloated salaries have been trimmed back and no matching 401ks. Theyve enhanced the grievance procedure by bringing numerous cases to the National Panel. They have really pushed drivers getting on 9.5 list which forces UPS to create more loads not to mention triple time grievance checks.
As for 500 people getting fired, you must be talking nationally. Last Tim spoke of people being fired, he said there were about 25 members on the street. So either show the source of your numbers or shut up!!

Voting to raise our union dues fron 2 to 2 1/2 times the hourly rate.

Endorsing Hoffa and they even gave him money. Do what you want but have the BALLS to tell the membership

Waited until they got re-elected to tell us our pension was being cut.

Wanted to wait until they got re-elected to tell us our medical was going to an arbitrator but they lost the election.

Howie was being paid $25,000 a year by Hoffa to be on the contract negotiate committee never told the membership what good did it do when we all got crap contracts. BUT again OUR OLD BOARD HAD NO BALLS TO TELL US THE TRUTH

BUT WERE MAKING $167,000 2 pension and a matching 401 K that no one knew about.

LMAO....the old paint buckets are back! they tried that on brush a few years back, a few drivers were making some nice coin on those re-directed deliveries. one of my former co-workers resigned due to the buckets! drivers were offered $500 a box to ensure delivery to a waiting car, I myself turned that offer down!

Yes...we can believe what Tim says! Tim did not try to deceive us about the H & W fiasco! He was up front and addressed the problem in the best interest of Local 804 members. And that is exactly how he has addressed each problem that the old Board left him with! If you think that Tony D. will face up to whatever problems surface in the future in the same way Tim has, you are sadly mistaken. Tony's past record has been to do nothing more than to cover Tony D's ass, and that's exactly what he'll do in the future. We currently have an Executive Board that will address those problems and keep the members advised of those problems! Tim has proven, in one term, that he will not back down from Hoffa, pension problems, H & W problems or being up front with our members about any of those problems. Tony D. has proven himself to be a coward when dealing with those problems! The choice for the future leadership of Local 804 is pretty clear. Sorry Tony...you're just not the guy! Ron knew it and the members know it. Just give it up and don't emabarrsss yourself any more than you already have!
