I have to say, Im not a fan of this contract at all. And I understand everyone is entitled to there opinions. But..What in gods name are you talking about? Are you serious with that? I mean, do you dream this up at night and then come on here in the morning and type what you dreamt? If you dont like the contract, thats fine. than vote how you want to vote. as i will too. You write, "anyone reading this post please past this onto our p/t brothers and sisters". I hate to inform you, anyone who reads this will want to know what you are smoking!!?? And just so you know, if you fail a drug test they will fire you!! The people in this union are strong and smart (of course there are exceptions..hint Tom Delay) and they will vote based on the facts, and the facts are in black and white and were mailed to every local 804 members address to be voted on and mailed back. And for the record, im not happy with the contract, but not because of the gibberish made up/ dreamt up nonsense you posted,(and i was a part of the 52 drivers and also read and have a copy of the arbitrators decision), because I read it, and quite frankly im entitled to my opinion. But seriously, nothing wrong with expressing your opinion on here, i mean thats whats this sight is for right? And you and other people may not always agree with my opinion, but as adults we can accept the fact that sometimes we just have to agree to disagree . But you, and people who spread lies, and make up stories are the ones who bring this union down. And you will never be taken seriously, EVER, trust me, believe me, nobody, weather they are voting yes or no is ever going to vote a specific way because "Tom Delay" says to. If i was you, id delete your account, and start over, only this time try to be a bit more believable and honest.

Thanks Tom for your permission to post. Where to begin...so many distortions, so little facts. Welcome to UPS Tom, where every driver everywhere misses kids events. Thats a choice WE make Tom, not forced by this or any other board. This TA is exactly what the surveyed members want. You personally may be a greedy good for nothing but that's immaterial, you'll still get the benefits this agreement provides, undeserving as you are. Only a deranged opportunist looking for a political opportunity would compare L804's medical plan to a third world plan and everyone (even you) knows that. Only in your poltical imagination lives the idea of 1200 members being fired. UPS has cut employment levels in nearly every operation nationwide in the last few years. L804 is no exception. Why do you think Sups working and 9.5 is such an issue??? L804's Pres and Sec Treas didn't sign on to anything with the Master (they urged a vote no on the Master, wrongly IMO) and no PT anywhere has had "all their medical" taken away. In fact the TeamCare plan has superior coverage levels than the L804 FT plan. Worst medical in the world??? Laughable. You "need" pt's now but you don't want them to increase their earnings or opportunites for full time advancement by the VCD language? Your hypocisy knows no bounds. Only thing Lucifer is blushing at is your distortions.

Full time Members wake up he is asking you to vote no and leave a 300 to 400 dollar pension increase on the table.Part timers once this contract passes there will more full time positions open for all of you.Full time pension increase equals more full timers retiring.Full timers retiring equals more full time jobs for part timers.This guy's agenda is about himself not a full time member or a part time member.

VOTE YES!! On a supplement that finally gives our members a pension increase in almost 15 years.300 dollars to 400 dollars a month.Whether you are working here 2 years or 25 years we need a pension increase.If you are a driver ask yourself do you want to work more than 25 years on that truck do you think you can survive 25 years on that truck.Well if we dont start getting pension increases now,forget about 25 and out if your pension is not big enough to support your retirement.Unfortunately our previous board did not fight for a raise in our pension for almost 15 years they even tried to cut it.Maybe if they would have managed our pension properly, and fought for raises all the supplements they negotiated,our pension would have been in better shape but it is not.People are leading you to believe we are losing Election day as a triple time day.Dont believe the B/S Election day is becoming a floating holiday to use when you want from Jan 16 thru Thanksgiving still at same rate of pay.Use it before your vacation if you need extra cash use it to replace your hot water heater if it goes and you need extra cash,whenever etc.I have even heard someone say we are losing leverage making election day floating.Leverage to do what take off on Election day to lose money because you dont like your manager.We are here to make money that is our highest paid day GIVE ME A BREAK with leverage!!! There are going to be a better grievance procedure in place,grievances will be heard in one to three months instead of getting lost.VCD drivers can only be used to cover vacations not to supplement regular workforce they cannot be used to take away your overtime.I see part timers everyday pulling out of the building as helpers now.Vacation cover drivers are for vacation coverage only.This is a good supplement read it over, go to our locals website get the facts not the B/S some guys are dishing out for there own agenda.Full time drivers once supplement is passed and we get a pension increase, retiring trailer drivers jobs will open for package car drivers who want that position.Part timers once pension increase is passed more full time jobs will open as full time drivers retire.Open your eyes!!!!

Stop selling us a dream..thats a total of $2,016.000million of pay roll savings plus divide that by 1600 hrs credit of one yr of service equals 39.375 drivers..not including what the company did not contribued into the pension..if you Liam came up with this 63,000 hrs of sch days off why did you not do somethung about this sooner.. you just aloud it to happen with no action...so vote no and save this local..its bigger than all of us..its about the future of this local...SMH..

I am full of sh#$$ take a look in the mirror.I tell it like it is what is your story.Who will you be running with in two years.Another slate that is going to nothing for our members once again.You can slice it dice it anyway you like.Anyone going out of there way to convince members to vote no on this pension increase are the only ones that are full of Sh@##$ So much concern about the future of this local,where was all the concern all these years when our pension,our medical and our annuity were being mismanaged.Enough with the B/S

How many actually understand with the new arbitration process that union wants to put into play a shop steward will be presenting cases against there immediate supervisor instead of union lawyers?? Shops steward have a hard enough job! Why give him something else to do!! Really doubt any steward believes he should be handling cases! It's the BA job! You agree??

Dude what the hell are you talking about? Anybody that makes it at this hell hole long enough to retire................................shouldnt lose a damn thing! If you can make it 30 years at this place and still walk .....you did good. and to take away anything from a guy that gave his whole life at this place. and ask him for any kind of givebacks..............................It just aint right. What a story,hmm Here is the best part you should have waited for a real increase!!!! Let me see previous board did not get us an increase in 15 years and they even tried to eliminate 25 and out.Fifteen years so how long do you figure it would be when we could get a real increase.Maybe we could all wait around another 15 years and hope a real increase comes to town.Maybe we should not even try to negotiate any more supplements and just take whatever the international is throwing at us.Because we never seem to get anything in the supplement anyhow all these years.What a joke all this B/S is.

Yeah, maybe if your boys Redmond and Buhlert would have increased our pensions in the past, we wouldnt be so far behind. Also if Redmond and Buhlert would have slowly increased retirees' healthcare (yes it is unfair but needed when nationally healthcare goes up every year)of the years along with regular pension increases, ALL WOULD BE FINE RIGHT NOW!! So dont blame the guys who increased our pensions to $4000...BLAME THE MISFITS WHO ALLOWED US TO FALL BEHIND IN THE FIRST PLACE!!

No matter what I do what is your point.Maybe out of all our members I am the only one getting a pension increase.This local not just me as you put it needs a pension increase.What good is 25 and out if you can't afford to retire.

Yeah sounds good, so 25 years from now when we have substantially more part timers working (that are vested in their own separate pension fund) than full timers contributing and more retirees collecting than members contributing, that pension will need a bail out. Next Central States... here we come!

Pension needs to be raised, but not this way.

Tim S is so paranoid that the second supplement vote will go down that he got his henchmen giving pizza party's for P/T only but they have to bring their ballot with them so that the B/A could show them how to vote. What a disgrace. And its against the law. i hope someone turns them into the IRB. This board has turned Ron C once great union into trash. When the members don't respect you it's time to go and Tim S and rest of them know it. And I am not talking about getting the old guard back, we should be so lucky, no my friends it's over. UPS is picking at this carcass we once called our union like vultures. Their is no one to come in and save us, who would want to. I know they are sitting in the union hall twiddling their thumbs waiting to find post against them for a rebuttal. They still have a very small following that is still hooked on the row B kool-aide but a great majority have gone to rehab, they got that monkey off their back and are realizing this supplement sucks and they the members will vote this down, for the members below them. P/T wants friend/t work but not at lesser pay. vOTE NO!
