I like a few guys on the new board and liked a few on the old. Instead of being a problem why not try to be a solution. You coming here with your posts are very childish and shameful. Thats ok make all the fun you want yes I know that Pat D hated row b that is no secret , he was asked about row B or row C now not when he was there. Pat D was an excellent business agent. People have been saying that he is union busting at his new job but he is doing nothing illegal.

I am having lunch with a bunch of the guys and we are talking about all the going down since the change. Everyone is saying what a mistake we made....Then your reading all the lies and lies. I have been very good friends with a few of the old board. So a bunch of the guys asked me to write on the cafe, because I like the computer and alot of my words are from alot of people.

However, you think it was a "mistake" to vote in Row B?? Ok, so it was Ok for members to be sold out by the old board and allowed to horsetrade members?? The 300 case backlog of arbitrations was ok?? The 2 sellout Hoffa-pushed contracts that the old board pushed on us were ok?? The health and welfare fund running out of money, OK?? The frozen pension since 2002, OK?? Man, I could go on.

Expecting alot from the new board is reasonable but expecting miracles is not. Supervisors working has gone on for decades and not just here in local 804. They promised to address sups working whereas the old board just ignored it. It has been addressed , grievances are being filed and paid . Hopefully you are one of those who have been grieving sups working in your building. A matter of fact I'm hearing the board is holding a seminar on Jan 29 with activist members on tactics and strategies for attacking sups working. Go to it and be a part of the solution.

On discipline being taken, well you are going to have to be a little bit more specific.

On the health and welfare funds, you are totally wrong. The new board came in and made some difficult but necessary changes. Was it the most popular thing to do politically??No. But it was the fiscally responsible thing to do. I give them credit. They told us what the problem was and immediately fixed it. We all took a hit, including retirees, but it had to be done. Again, this would not have been such a problem if the old board had done its job in the first place!

On the building raids, I know of several building raids, but you are right, they have not had as many as I expected they would.

Listen, this new board is not perfect but they are addressing our problems and they are not lying to us. The other guys did. To now say, you are going to vote row C which is packed with former row a hasbeens , seems to be wanting to go backwards. Talk about having your "heads examined"!

Plus like Eyes says, "this vote is to get Hoffa out of office". When you get your ballot in a month or so, vote Row B -they will be going to support Sandy Pope. Row C (Row A in lonewolfs clothing lol) have no problem with Hoffa. In 2 years, you can make an informed decision about the new board and the job they have done over 3 years and then you can vote your conscience.

Yes, It was a mistake voting 4 this eboard, They promised everything and anything to us and took advantage of the fact that our economy was headed on a down fall. They played us like fools and lead us to believe that our old eboard was at fault. I guess soon they will also blame them for the financial melt down of everyone's 401K plans and blame them for the real estate market crash. You can repeat your self all you want but we the members now know better. This eboard does not have its members best interest in mind.

I was not expecting miracles, just what they campaigned on. If they could not deliver on that just step up to the plate and admit you made promises you cannot keep. But they hide and even pull in other members for example Liam R, and Anthony C, I don't remember seeing there names on the ballet. I understand they can pull in whoever they want, but I'd like to know who is paying for there salaries. Is that the reason they cut there salaries so they can pull in there friends and pay them with our union money. From my experience with talking to the members in my building and center, Members are being disciplined on almost anything management can find, This never happened with our old eBoard, and all these BA's can do is say ok, "well the contract says" "the contract this, the contract that. Then tells the driver with there shop steward there just take the warning letter or says, do you really want to take this to arbitration, you could be out of work for months, just take the suspension. Instead of standing up for there members and fighting tooth and nail like our old board did. I miss that sense of protection and security. Even if drivers were in the wrong they got off easy. Tell you what, if you want to call them givebacks, hell its much better than getting fired and left jobless. What good is a pension if our members will never get to retire from this job.

You say you give this eboard credit for raising our medical, especially for the retired members. You just gave every retired member a kick in the A@s who built this union. ( and you talk about give backs) And now your doing it to all the active members. All this eboard had to do is stand up the the company and demand them to put funds in the medical. Big Brown is making record profits off the sweat on our backs and you just give in without a fight, just pass the blame again. Its time to step up or get out.

Perhaps its the brain washing from TDU that has infected your minds. You say this vote is to get hoffa out. The eboard is saying the same thing, is this another one of there lies. We dont know, why because they cannot be trusted. They lied to us once and we wont get fooled again. Perhaps TDU is behind this and pulling Tim's strings.
