You are a complete maroon. Again it doesn’t mention face covering. It mentions hijabs and covering like that. No where in the Quran does it state for a woman to cover her face. Idk why you brought up hadiths as that is not written in the Quran either. Maybe I should have worded it different for you in the original thing I said. The Quran requires a woman to wear a hijab/covering over her body yes but the full on burqa or whatever they are called are cultural. Numb nuts

They, meaning the Muslim women (not all), wear a face covering called a niqab that is for religious purposes as stated by them directly and the reason why. Are you denying that direct quote from the interviews of those 40 Muslim women? They would know the Quran better than anybody. Are you denying scholarly evidence making direct quotes (which I provided) from the Quran as to why they feel the need to cover their entire face and confirms their belief? If you want to get technical, their religion, religious practices, and religious customs are part of their culture. Argue with them. It’s stated by them. There is nothing left to debate.

Now we're experts on Islam. This thread is amazing. Can't wait to see where it goes next.

There is only one guy on this thread that would be an expert. I’m no expert, but I know how to ask questions, as others have done and I know how to read other people’s research on the topic. Seems like we are having a pissing battle over whether or not the niqabs that cover the face of women are for religious purposes. Nothing beats the information coming directly from them and I provided that.

Stay unvaccinated all you want. Just deny all the non vaccinated idiots health care.
And smokers (or ex-smokers) don't get cancer treatments either? What about diabetes type 2 patients, since that condition is also strongly tied to life-style choices?

Instead, how about we have everyone fill out some sort of "pre-hospitalization" questionnaire. The document lists out all the drugs and treatments one is likely to receive if admitted to a hospital. Not COVID-specific, or anything like that, but rather a document which covers at least the more common ailments which might result in hospital admittance. Then, one has to "check" the boxes on all the drugs or treatments they are "OK" with, as well as the ones they are "not OK" with. Just to keep things humane, one can change their mind after being admitted, but then one has to pay full list price for everything.

This would go a long ways towards freeing up hospital capacity. Presumably, folks would do as much research on the details of hospital treatments as they do regarding vaccinations. Some of these folks, now being much better informed about the details of hospital drugs and treatments, will just steer clear, and head over the local Feeder Supply instead. Others will still agree to get admitted, but the ICU beds might get freed up a whole lot faster if most treatments were not "OK'd", as many critical patients will die off faster.

Folks would do well to better educate themselves on what really happens in hospitals, regardless of COVID. Most folks end up in one sooner or later. Better to document what is and is not "OK" well before being delivered there, in a semi-conscious state, after a heart attack. Or from hypoxia caused by Coronavirus. It is hard to think clearly when hypoxic.

If Niqabs are Muslims sign of their faith and obedience to their husband... What's the White American womans? Probably bikini, and a husband who does what he's told?

Because and I repeat there is nothing in the Quran that states a woman’s face needs to be covered. Most of the woman that wear it are in Afghan/Iraq etc which they do it more for a cultural of it then anything that states in the Quran. Biggest Muslim nation is Indonesia and Almost no one wears a niqab. A hijab yes

No you misread what I said. I said it’s not where I’m the Quran about face covering.

I don’t believe the Koran requires women to walk around in full length sacks
The Quran wants woman to cover up so basically the men don’t get aroused and keep themself only for their husbands. The man is suppose to lower his gaze so he doesn’t commit sin etc. so if the woman is completely covered a man can’t really check her out. It’s modesty

Well according to them that wear one, they disagree with you even if the article of clothing is not spoken of by specific name in the Quran. but the quotes provided by scholars are interpreted by some of them to mean cover the whole face. Hence a face covering. It's for religious purposes as stated by them who hold deep beliefs in their faith. Perhaps they are the eqivalent of the puritans or mennonites in Christianity.

They can’t disagree with me because it doesn’t exist in the text is what I’m say. What they interpreted can differ from what’s in the Quran. I’m not saying they are wrong I’m just saying simple there is nothing about face coverings. But religion can be interpreted multiple ways. Heck it’s the same as people believe a suicide bomber get 72virgins when suicide is strictly forbidden and no where anywhere does it say anything about 72virgins. Anyways that’s it for religion talk. Tune in next week when we talk about dinosaurs. Did they really get killed by an asteroid? You’ll have to stick around to find out.
