This is whole thing will end in a strike. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

I'm still not scared. A strike will hurt the union and the company a whole lot more than it will me. But the leadership would have to be out of their minds to strike without at least one more crack at negotiating. Thanks for demonstrating your incapability to answer any of my arguments by deflecting to the strike scare.

I truly feel sorry for you..This is not elementary school..We can see through your posts just who you are...And if it be true and you were invited to some form of negotiating committee it explains it all.

Most of us on this site would school you if you ever responded to our debates.

So keep sniping it up...
Depends on your area. I wouldn’t argue with some regions.

At the end of this contract you will cost the company as a package car driver 73 an hour in combined wages and benefits. The 22.4 will cost 67 an hour. Nobody is even close to this. You want to guy this company as all the new competitors get lower costing labor then kill the golden goose. My Pension isn’t tied to ups so have at it. You can’t save people from themselves. Amazon just bought 20 new trucks. These times are a changing.
20 new trucks or 20,000?

There are no delivery drivers as safe and productive as ups drivers.

Even with those alleged hourly rates we still are far in the black, moving twice the volume as in 97, and the average weight and size of our freight is multiplied times bigger than then as well.

No other delivery company has the workers comp injuries growth we have and the average worker that hires into this company leaves militant minded because of the stress from corrupt and or abusive managers.

This ain't FedEx and if your pension doesnt come from this company you should not even be negotiating our contract.

You've got no skin in the game and never had but you've got all the answers since you view us as overpaid whiners. We support your salary and you are ungreatful.

When you've done the job come back on here and tell us more of your punk lies.

Go away. You suck as bad as our BA. You have much in common.

Once we strike this company changes forever. It will end in a strike. I hope you have enough seniority to stay on.

Don't worry about me. Worry about your members gathering outside the hall with baseball bats, torches, and pitchforks if they ever find out you want them to get laid off and suffer. :censored2: you.

This afternoon most of Part-Timers received a called from George and Lindsay, referring to all this "Great Benefits" they are offering. If you heard the called, was the same crap, with selective calls from Teamsters Members.

They talked about social media influencing into the Vote No Movement, and telling us to compare how "great benefits" this contract is compared to other competitive companies.

Encouraging us to Vote, Vote and Vote. Indicating this is not a "perfect contract" for part-timers, drivers, etc...

So, to my "point of view", this is a redundant information because Negotiators may be scare of the Vote No Movement and may passed. They may be information for education purposes, but not for people with intellectual comprehension, like Teamster Members, that read the language of this contract. They only focus on the numbers ($$), that only benefits new hires, not the existent UPS employees. What do you think?

“Since cover drivers make top rate when they start this is normal”

Ok with that logic every center manager so make the same as a part time supervisor. This is such a brush off and actually makes me want to vote no even more

Cover drivers don’t make top pay when they start. Nice try though. I know this because I’m a cover driver. 4 year progression.

We are gonna be screwed by the members not the Union. Most don’t even vote. Most let right to work happen in their state. It’s embarrassing. Apathy and ignorance!
Yes, because we pay these people darn near minimum wage, and refuse to give them raises to keep up with inflation. They have no motivation to be involved with the union.

If we become screwed by our own members, it will be our own fault, because we failed to negotiate well for our part timers.
