The catch up raises went to new hires and the part time supervisors apparently.
Apparently PT sups who been here years are screwed. Only get the 75 cent raise, most don't qualify for the bonus. In my building many are pissed that new hire and recent PT sups will be making as much as them...sounds familiar lol. As union PTers also get the shafted, with new and low seniority employees going to making the same or close to what they make.

I saw one comment on here that said UPS is paying way more then other carriers and we should be lucky.. well, UPS will always be the most expensive. We've never gotten a new customer by saying we will cut cost(Most of the time). We've never bragged to other companies that use dual shippers that we are better. Hell we just go in and do our job. But people still choose us because simply we are better then the competition hands down. So if we do vote no and get a better contract which leads to higher cost at the company stakes AND they decide to raise prices, so be it. They wont cut their own throats and gouge customers to try and prove a point.

They're going to raise prices anyway. Look at the charges they add to oversize and heavy packages now. $600 extra for over seventies packages.

Don't let these idiots tell you that we're gonna price ourself out of the business because of our labor costs. We are pricing ourselves out of business because of greed and that's it.

Record profits. Record revenue.

And the IBT master minds want to send our surepost volume to the competition.

Corruption abounds.

Let the article 22.4 drivers deliver that. And maybe a few old guys that need another year or two would bid that job.

Saw a new face today with a teamsters t shirt on going up and down the pens handing out vote yes flyers and talking to all the part timers while they were working. Not even waiting till we walk out to parking lot any more. Shees these people seem so desperate. Just made me more convinced to vote no.

Stupid move. Probably management or some drive loser from a remote area who doesn't work for and hasn't worked for ups as a bargaining unit member.

Some people would say an employee making over $150,000 a year in total compensation is greedy by saying “we can do better” and to vote no. The reality is that its a good paying job. Period. Every part time employee has this opportunity and it’s a good thing.

That's not the only thing at stake here but you continuously want to make it so....

minus the issue that your supp gives you better language on issues than most everyone else's.
We've been over this multiplied times.
And the only true choice for most is to send it back to get rid of subcontracting and other language that is detrimental to the future of full time and part time jobs.
It's not about one supplement. It's about the big picture for most upsers that are Teamsters and the ones that will follow us.

So a few crybabies got their feelings hurt. And will vote no, no matter what. Not very responsible of them to play with OTHERS livelihoods. You are one of the sheep I see.
