Feederwife sure knows a lot of facts about this contract, especially not being (allegedly) an employee. Sounds like a "plant" to me.
Yep!
The new 22.4 driver with the young wife and new born baby at home is just as important as I am.
I wouldn't be much of a man if I voted yes on a contract that puts someone else in the position we are in today.
Ups can hire more RPCD's and the issue would be fixed, but they want to value the buck over the worker.

Already voted NO on both my options. Tell your husband he is free to vote yes for pay increases that dont keep up with inflation and scabs taking his loads. Tell him not to come on here and cry to us when this contract backfires on every bargaining unit employee.
You can also gtfo with voting in a classification that will have people delivering until midnight with no protections and less pay.

How the hell are you all delivering until midnight!? Only way that would work is if you had a start time of 10am.... DOT drive time law is 14hrs... soooo that doesn’t add up.

My husband and his union, local 174 is voting YES for the contract. Ive heard a ton of “no” votes but no reasons to back it up.... want to know what everyone thinks, and if you’re voting NO, can you please give reasons why?
Thanks!

PS- If there’s already a “Contract” thread, sorry! I tried looking for one, but didn’t see it.
These sicko's want to know if you are hot and how you are with a sammich?

KILL KILL!!
Lol ummm where exactly does it say that because with this contract its opening up 2000 new spots in feeder for sleeper teams.... thats not subcontracting. Thats ups union feeder drivers making more money and moving up in the company to get rid of the rails... the coyotes are coming to an end with this contract too. So id really like to know where it states that so i can bring it up to his local.

Jesus Christ! Yes I’m the WIFE of a feeder driver- sorry for the typo- get off it. Please answer this for me- WHY exaxtly are you so concerned about everyone that comes behind you? How in the hell can you all worry about everyone else BEHIND you? You all have had to “do your time”, one way or another. It’s not like 22.4 drivers are going to be effed over forever- they just have to do their time. PLUS when they accept the job- aren’t they going in fully aware of what the job entails?!

Ok sooo the statement on the ballot isnt true? If you vote no, you authorize the union to strike at any moment in time... there’s nothing that states they’ll go back to the table to renegotiate immediately.
And when we have a family that depends on his medical and paycheck and you no voters think its a effing game to ruin peoples livelyhoods... just for a few weeks off...??

Tony, look man. It’s too early for this
