So your voting no to keep weekend work the same for RPCD's and the company will still continue to use current the two tier drivers that already exist even though they make less than a 22.4.

Seriously what are you expecting to gain from a no vote that is better that your current economic package?
Expecting to gain respect and show UPS and corporate America that thier workers who actually most have gained them tremendous volume by filling out sales leads and making this company the profitable giant that it is ,and demanding that they will see how we as teamsters all come together and stand up for what we deserve .... This is not a easy job and it will shed years off your life almost like being a professional athlete now a days with the time standards decreasing and the stops per car increasing a average of 40 stops per car I don’t get how the drivers are going out twice as heavy as 5 years ago and justifying a pay cut for a 6 billion dollar profitable company makes any sense at all. Mabey if they were hurting and the economy was bad . But we know that isn’t the case

It clear as day to me. I been defending that language for over 13 years. Nothing will change. It was meant for drivers and now it’s clarified. You guys just can’t let it go because your too damn paranoid.

I agree it was meant for drivers. That's what I said. Still never needed to be changed to Drivers instead of employees. That's all I'm saying.

Show me language that makes it better.

I can show you non-existent language that says it is not.
Yes it does. Who the hell are you listening to for your information. Employee is everyone. Driver is only drivers. The intent of the language has always been about drivers and GPS. Do hub workers have GPS on them? Any kind of discipline you are worried about in the hub must be observed. There is also language in that Article regarding the companies BS tactics where they used to terminate members for so called dishonesty (like not wearing a seat belt) is now clearly defined as methods violations and must follow progressive discipline. These are way better. Pick your battles please.
The Language is not limited to just gps. I think what bothers me is that somebody thought that it was very important to change that word or it would not have been brought up in negotiations. That one word MAY affect a lot of employees. I hope you are right in not being concerned, but I do NOT trust Ups management to not use it against us.

I find it funny how scared Local 886 was. They called out The Boston Bully and tried to claim it was a political ploy for the vote No movement.
News flash 886 you sucked and failed your members by selling out. Don’t be mad at the future of OZ!!!
Again I urge all 886 members vote out Hoffa next go around. Enough consessions already...

From what I'm hearing all locals claiming "It's politically motivated, don't believe the lies" That's all they got.
I guess when you surround yourself only with people that agree with you, you will lose your perspective. They don't know what the members want. They don't listen to any.

They tell the members what the members want. If you disagree, you must be a political agent of TDU.
