Cover drivers are different. At my center they use them when too many people call in sick, or like Amazon Prime day. They aren’t used to reduce Full time drivers overtime, ever. They also would never reduce the volume on a Monday, and cause routes to be cut on Monday. I personally don’t have a problem with cover drivers. We have about 5 of them, and i understand that UPS cannot control people calling in sick, so they have to have staff available to do a route, in a pinch. This is much different than a full-time position, doing the same work for half the pay, and no protection. So over the last 20 years you never said but right now all of the sudden you decided two tier drivers are bad. Hmmmm so tell me Vince they had a cheaper driver all those years did they ever steal your overtime or get you laid off on Mondays?
Your a fool. Your unionism parallels Upstate's. Come east and we'll inflate the rat to commemorate your teamster tendencies.Your a tool. We are all Teamsters. Once again get over it.
Our teamster patches have horses on it but his has pu s s ies no doubt. You may be a teamster by name, but you will never be one of US.
Your cover drivers get paid less, have no 9.5 rights and only get a part time pension but that is ok? So you would rather keep that than them getting full time pension contributions?Cover drivers are different. At my center they use them when too many people call in sick, or like Amazon Prime day. How are you saying that a driver making 85% of a RPCD is not a two tier driver and then calling me a liar. Holy cow
You right I’m not a hypocrite, vote no cheerleader, internet bully.
You mean like a FT driver still in progression.same work for half the pay, and no protection
Really you have to lie like that? You must really be mad.Your a fool. Your unionism parallels Upstate's. Come east and we'll inflate the rat to commemorate your teamster tendencies.
Weren't you the steward that snitched to management about drivers off area breaks? Tell us about the times you suppressed valid grievances to keep your job.
Are you voting yes because you still owe management for sparing your job? Fess up boy.
Your bully tactics are amazing and comical. Our teamster patches have horses on it but his has pu s s ies no doubt.
Exposing the real reason you're pushing a yes vote. Tell everyone about your job.Really you have to lie like that? You must really be mad.

Man you just don’t get it do you. That is a two tier hybrid position. It is a cheaper driver period.Because they arent FULL TIME...they can tell UPS to PISS OFF at any time, they arent handcuffed to it 24/7 365 like we are.
Your bully tactics are amazing and comical.
Full time pension, healthcare contributions and their progression goes toward the RPCD. There will be no shortage of guys taking that job and you know it.And they get to carry that 85% over with them and dont have to start progression at the bottom like a new hire RPCD......but under the LagunaBrown contract, theyll have to go from TCD to 22.4. DUMB!

I did. The answer is zero. Zero. Our part timers will get about $70,000 contributed to their pension over the 5 year contract. Every region is different. Ask your steward or business agent.
That's a question he avoids because the answer is obvious to us that voted it down to begin with years ago. He prob got more money in his pension so he voted it in for his own base gain. So, answer me this, do you like TCD language?
So now instead of two or three years as the company whipping boy TCD, youre five or six years as the whipping boy, with a couple years of pension credit. WHOOPIE!...How many of those guys are gonna stay or make it to see a full pension with that kind of work load?? EXACTLY!...NOT MANY! precisely what UPS is counting on!Full time pension, healthcare contributions and their progression goes toward the RPCD. There will be no shortage of guys taking that job and you know it.
