Voting Starts Next Week! How will you vote and why.

I’m not pushing a yes vote, I just don’t want members to vote no just because they hate UPS. A lot of bitter people on here.

I noticed I hadn't seen you on here much for a while. I certainly don't hate UPS, if that were the case, I would leave. I don't, however, want to see the situation devolve to where I did start to hate working here, and I think that could happen if the contract passes as is. I also think passing the contract as is could actually be a bad thing for the company, but their greed is blinding them to the possibilities.

I think a lot of the no voters need to leave, they will never be happy. If 22.4s weren’t in the proposal they would of focused on something else to complain and cry foul about. No contract has been perfect in my 23 years but at the end of this one I’ll be making $40hr with great benefits.
Part timers are complaining about their wages, it’s a part time job that gives you insurance AND a pension, good luck finding that somewhere else.
The increasing amount of entitled, lazy drivers in our building is concerning and aggravating, none of them take pride in working hard and earning a great wage, top wage in the industry.

Starting wage is a waste of time.

I’d be a yes if they change 3 things.
1) top rate and 9.5 protection for 22.4’s
2) automatic payment on 9.5 violations
3) catchup raise for current PTers
Fix this and it may pass.

I'd prefer it if the 22.4 language just went away. If you change the top pay and 9.5 protection, the only reason to have it in there is for weekend driving. Make lower seniority ground drivers work weekends, boom, problem solved. Who cares if they complain? People always find something to complain about.

#2 would be impossible and you know it.
How would it be impossible?
Assuming your in local 25, Don’t you get paid a 20min time bonus for going over 10 hours in one days? Isn’t that automatically calculated in your following weeks check? To say that is impossible is just being weak minded and really an outright lie. It’s actually quite simple.

Yeah, simply setting some perameters in the payroll software could make it automatic. Or having to hand enter the information wouldn't be that hard.

No local 710, huge Mark McGwire fan, the lazy few would abuse it and ruin it for everyone.

But I do agree with 2 out of the 3.

So your voting no to keep weekend work the same for RPCD's and the company will still continue to use current the two tier drivers that already exist even though they make less than a 22.4.

Seriously what are you expecting to gain from a no vote that is better that your current economic package?
There is good in bad in this contract, Catch up raises for PT and adding strict limitations on the 22.4 Jobs and I believe this could be a really good contract. Most wanted the whole 22.4 jobs to be eliminated totally, but I do believe if say they were only allowed to drive 20 hours per week and if they go over a minute top rate all week would be the penalty. That would protect them from being abused, and protect a lot of RPCD overtime AND give UPS flexibility. 25% is too high also, send them back and give us some added language protections, and reward your PTers that have been around for years.

I have figured it out. Took me forever but I figured it out. Don't know how to fix it, but I know now.

I'm talking about the 'No Movement', I racked my brain trying to figure if it was disgruntled UPS Management, union haters, angry Teamsters, Fed Ex employees... fired ex UPS employee's. Of course there's a small percent of the aforementioned that contribute but no way as massive and spread out from Facebook, Youtube, BC and you see it on UPSer's but not in such a large amount of Vote No Teamsters. So thought that tells me the mass No propaganda is not coming from the inside or membership... otherwise you'd see it on UPSer's more. I thought well perhaps they're afraid because UPS knows who they are. Yet, according to Facebook. These guys don't care if UPS knows them. I even thought maybe it's coming from the massive UPS data center in N.J., that looks like the CIA.

I've been trying to keep the flock from heading to the slaughter house... some are actually trotting towards the door... then it dawned (or donned, I don't know), yet yeah.... it dawned on me who could be persuading all our thoughts online.... working this fervor up to VOTE NO! Plus, I personally see strange hacking type technical glitches here. I'm an easy target... it dawned on me who it is;

****** IT'S AMAZON COM ******

Makes perfect sense, they have the best minds for technology and how to manipulate others by using their technology against all Teamsters, whether you're Yes or No. Plus, they're ramping out as fast as possible in the hopes they get this contract voted down and we all strike. They claim they know me...I laughed at that. Well, not laughing now. They just might know who I am. They have the tools to know just from my Amazon Prime account.

I only have 8-minutes left on my lunch here. Two more pickups & 63 stops left. Amazon is also killing us on volume last 2-weeks. THEY WANT US TO VOTE NO!

Think about it, seriously.

Bye
Can anybody see this? Hello

Wow,
My supplement sucks.
20 min extra pay?

Define what a "full pension" means to you, there are so many levels and formulas, one gets this amount in the West, one gets this amount in the East and several gets this amount in the Central and South. Complicated ain't it..
