They are blackmailing a lot of the local supplements by saying if the supplement doesn't pass on the first vote, everything is off the table.
That cant be true!!!
They know better than that.
If everything comes off the table it may fall on to the money being passed under the table.

I'm
If you are Voting No on the Master, why would you vote yes on the Supplement?

How can your Supplement address the autonomous needs of you Region until you know exactly what will be in the final version of the Master?

My advice is to Vote No on both, until you confident enough to vote yes on the Master and feel it has a good chance of passing.
makes sense, I was on the side of caution and just voted NO for everything

Master
Western agreement
And southwest package and sort supplement

Voting no for everything is a solid move. In the Central States; we need the master to be voted down. Our supplement is horrible and will be forced upon us if the master passes. Solidarity is what makes us bigger than the union and more powerful than the company. Stick together and vote this piece of garbage down. The company and the union refuse to answer very important questions regarding major issues in working conditions and pay. We need actual answers. Until we get those answers; I feel the union and ups are bargaining in bad faith and that the union is not fulfilling its duty of fair representation in contract negotiation. Easy questions; No Answers. Here are a few questions about missing language regarding RPCDs and 22.4s. 1. How will OT be awarded? RPCDs should have the 1st right to all OT. It is a Union hallmark to award OT based on seniority. 2. All OT should be offered on a voluntary basis and then if needs are not met; force from the bottom up with 22.4s being forced 1st and then RPCDs being forced. 3. There is no language regarding uniform start times for RPCDs. RPCDs start times have been between 8 and 9 AM for decades. This language should be added protecting consistent start times. 4. New language has created the whole new classification of 22.4s with a guarantee of 8 hours per day, 5 consecutive days for 40 hours per week. Why didn't the union protect current full time drivers with the same language? "If available" is not equivalent to Guaranteed.

I am voting NO until these blatant language issues are corrected.

177 supplement is a no vote for me as well.
"(e) During the period of June 1 to January 10, the Company can hire non-permanent, non-seniority accruing drivers. The number of these drivers will not exceed 10% of the - 3 - assigned staffing per center during the period between June 1 and September 30."

if im getting this right means now not only 3 people is going to be training but also they can have 10% more of just "non permanent drivers".

The union sure is pushing this hard. A no vote will tell them they are not just there at the bargaining table for a pay check, they are there for the members.
You mean the 1/3 of the members that actually bother to send in a ballot. Yeah that will really send a clear message.

This contract is a kick in the face for senior PT ers. Everybody getting something from this contract but us. Sad. Vote NO
I believe I qualify as a senior PT and at the end of this contract I will be making $38.75/hr. Or more likely I will retire with an improved monthly pension. Be careful when you say everyone.

A strike is becoming such an option that it’s not even funny. Get ready and save your money.

Don't you think you're doing more harm than good? The scare tactics and intimidation from BAs outside of our buildings are going to cause more people to vote no than the bad language will.

Or was that the plan all along?

Enough already, neither side wants a strike. A no vote is going to send stock prices down, which is why the company is paranoid. They're not going to compound that with a lockout at any time. The negotiating team feels they did a good job, but if the vote comes back no then it's a back to the table situation. No one is calling a strike. Take it for what it is, a labor force that wants better.
