The Bible is not God.
The Holy Spirit revealed the mind of God through inspired men.
" All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work." 2 Timothy 3:16-17
To know God and to know what his will for man is , is to know his word.
You can only know what has been revealed.
You can guess and believe whatever you want about God, too. And good luck with that.

He offered ( John 10:18 and a host of others) his life and shed his blood to complete the eternal plan of God (Eph.1) in the salvation of men.
"They" who had a hand in that plan that killed him were the High Priests, The Pharisees, Pilot, Roman Soldiers, etc.
