Doesn't help you do your route on Friday when you can concentrate.Do all that on weekends.

That's very much an individual thing. So, the question would be, regardless of DOT laws. Is it safe to deliver for 11-14 hours a day, for 5-6 days a week, in a package car, and then drive back to the building?
Totally agree. I don’t have the answer. We need a much stronger contract that has stronger language about weekends and excess overtime. Without giving up our pensions or healthcare. Seems bleak.I'm being serious. It's not like people on occasion are working long hours. How can you.be safe and productive if you are worn out and miserable?
Well 7 is probably sufficient. How are you supposed to get 8 hours of sleep, eat, get ready for work????
I know guys who can drink 15 beers and seem totally sober too. Doesn’t mean they should drive home. That's very much an individual thing.
My uncles said in vet school they stayed awake as long as possible each hour doing a series of cognitive tests. This way each person knew where their breaking point was.
I often forget to be productive after an extra long nights work.Well 7 is probably sufficient.
I often "forget" to shave after a long nights work. Extra ten minutes is awesome.
They will probably ask for year round helpers.Totally agree. I don’t have the answer. We need a much stronger contract that has stronger language about weekends and excess overtime. Without giving up our pensions or healthcare. Seems bleak.
You can run yourself short all of the time, it catches up to you. Get back to me in a decade!Well 7 is probably sufficient.

Not with the current pension/healthcare obligations. They will probably ask for year round helpers.
We should hold all of the power this contract.Totally agree. I don’t have the answer. We need a much stronger contract that has stronger language about weekends and excess overtime. Without giving up our pensions or healthcare. Seems bleak.
They are going to try to pull some bull crap. No doubt. Not with the current pension/healthcare obligations.
No doubt. Like I said it's really an individual thing. You can run yourself short all of the time, it catches up to you. Get back to me in a decade!
Your get beat up mentally and physically here after the decades roll by.
And Hoffa will offer everyone a free bottle of lube to pass it.They are going to try to pull some bull crap. No doubt.
I see a signing bonus this contract, do the part timers push through. And Hoffa will offer everyone a free bottle of lube to pass it.

I have serious doubts, that most of the part timers, in my building would even be able to return a ballot. Some seem lucky to have pants on.I see a signing bonus this contract, do the part timers push through.
Gonna be real interesting. I see no way it's settled by AugustI see a signing bonus this contract, do the part timers push through.
Thank you John WaltonI ran a 5 ton milling machine that would cut you hand off in a split second for 12 hours a day/ 6 days a week for 2 months when I was young---and lived to tell about it. Normal schedule was 10 hour days/ 6 days a week. You guys are all pusillanimous- now days. (jk)(not about the milling machine though)
For a $1000 bonus they would.I have serious doubts, that most of the part timers, in my building would even be able to return a ballot. Some seem lucky to have pants on.
