Why didn’t UPS settle earlier on the contract? Lost a lot of unnecessary volume? And why didn’t we charge Amazon 3x more during the years they were building their delivery infrastructure? Should have a few more billion in the bank!

that is just above the level I'm privy to, but here's my fanfiction guess:

they truly thought their offer was fair and were also crossing their fingers and hoping for a combo of declining economic conditions and public apathy to push their negotiation farther

eventually Carol sees the writing on the wall how a strike would play out and says okay that's enough just make a deal

It was nice when the rusty selector lever that directs heat from the windshield to the floor worked. Most times we checked for cigarette packs and gum wrappers in the tube that were missing the caps before we moved the lever...lol.

at that time we were still competing with fedex for amazons business.

tired of the misinformation around this place, sups and hourlies both

ask me your deepest questions as to how this place functions and I can answer them below the VP level

spoiler: whatever bothers you is probably not intentional, just incompetence; if it's IE's fault I'll tell you true

Why when asked sups can't explain how over allowed is factored ? Also why won't dispatch put actual 1700 committed times on commercial stops instead of 11:59 and put them on the 7000 or 8000?

On three seperate occasions today i had two houses next door to each other. I stop compete one stop, before i can scan the next package i have to wait for orion to “solve” again and of course it picks some house miles away, not the one thats 30 feet from me. Also on multiple occasions today my diad spun and spun doing another manifest update, and it came up with return to building as my next stop, every time i had over 100 stops left.

I guess my question is, why does this happen

With the rumored big cutbacks coming, management cuts, building consolidations etc, will the routes be cut after peak or will we continue to run the many split routes that have under eight hours work on them? A dozen or so daily in our center of 45 routes.
