I saw another video featuring that guy from Fast n' Loud where they raced it against a 426 hemi Challenger and it did a 10.8 there.

I would be even better if they could develop an aluminum block V10 version of the Hellcat engine for the Viper. I would estimate about 900hp.

That would be scary crazy fast. How much less does a Viper weigh?

Not sure, but the current hardcore ACR Viper has about 750hp now.The old V10 is getting obsolete.It was based off the old 5.9 Magnum.

3460 -for the SRT and 3408 for the ACR. About 6-700 pounds lighter.

Yea, but Vipers have a reputation of being a handful. I'm sure that Hellcat will be a much more drivable car.

It appears tires were the difference.
Dodge says it can do a quarter-mile run in 11.2 seconds at 125 mph on its showroom stock tires, and just 10.8 with a set of street-legal drag radials installed.
