Here's an Ideal, America leave the middle east all together. Pretty sure the terroristic threats to the country would drop instantly. And American will never be weak militarily. Even if it cuts spends down to only paying its employees. As long America has nukes, no country will bother. Notice how the only counties America invades have no nukes? We've got people in apartments who will be out on the streets by December, not to mention the tents on the sidewalks of American as we speak. Stop using the Military to baby sitting oil fields and opium fields for corporate America and try cleaning up the country for a change.

Completely agree. I have thought for a long time that the US needs to return to more of the Isolationist country it was before world war 2.

We could cut our military budget in half and still have an enormous amount of money being spent on the military. Use that money to rebuild America. Stop policing the world.

Of course this will never happen as there is too much money to be made for the military industrial complex and the politicians that are subservient to them.
