Remarkably, folks here not old enough to remember, there were people who protested national speed limit of 55 when it was implemented, as well at a national seatbelt law, again people protested it...
Not only were those tested for years and years, but also now we know they are safe long term.
Why is the speed limit not nationally mandated at 55? Why not lower? Do the lives of the people who die not matter to you?
