Four teenagers have been charged with attempted homicide, robbery, assault and other counts after they allegedly tried to rob two state representatives only blocks from the Pennsylvania state capitol and ended up exchanging gunshots on a public street.

State Rep. Marty Flynn, D-Scranton, formerly a prison guard for the Lackawanna County Prison, was walking along the street with Rep. Ryan Bizzarro, D-Erie, late Tuesday after a day of legislative work then dinner out, according to PennLive.com.

The men were confronted by a man who allegedly pulled out a gun and demanded their wallets, police reported.

Reports say Harrisburg police were charging Jamani Ellison, 17; Jyair Leonard, 15; Derek Anderson, 17, and Zha-quan McGhee, 15, with a laundry list of counts.

As is always the case, another second amendment, right to protect my family and my property gun owner, kills his children then himself.

Like I have said many times, EVERY gun owner has a "trigger" that will ultimately end up with the gun owner killing his family, his friends, his neighbors or his coworkers.

The gun is a cowards choice to solve problems. Its easy, its fast and there is satisfaction. The typical gun owner just cant wait to take a persons life, even if its his own.

Too bad for these children. They had to live with a weapon in the home that was suppose to "protect" them only to die at the hands of their own father.

I swear that in the future when things become unbearable that I will not use my weapons to commit a murder /suicide act .
However I will still consider a fire , or drowning , or a drug overdose , or leaving drunk people outside in freezing temperatures are ok to use .

The Shawnee Police Department told us just before 3 a.m., a man and his wife heard a loud bang from their back door.

That's when the homeowner says he grabbed his gun and saw a suspected burglar with a gun.

The suspect told the homeowner to get on the ground, but the homeowner told the suspect to leave.

When the suspect wouldn't leave, that's when the homeowner says he shot the suspect once in the chest.

The suspect then left the home and police later found him hiding under a truck at a neighbor's house.

Emergency crews took the suspect to OU medical center for surgery.

We are still waiting for an update on his condition.

I would feel safer if you simply took your guns to the local police department and ask them to destroy them.. Then, move to a safer neighborhood and enjoy the ultimate freedom of walking in this country without fear.

Finally, justice for victims of gun violence. This man got exactly what he deserved. USE a gun, kill an innocent person, then prepare to spend the rest of your life in prison.

Ironically, this , shot into a van with black teens, killing one and injuring others because they were playing loud rap music. Afterwards he claimed self defense...

The jury blew that off and convicted him.

Now, he spends the rest of his life in prison listening to..... guess ?...... yup LOUD RAP MUSIC!! Only with bigger black people in the area.

Lets see how he fairs with that.
