Don't know what went wrong with yours. This thing is tits.

It was made in one of those years they had quality control problems. They still had a good reputation but were making an inferior product and getting by on past good reviews. I think they went bankrupt and were replaced by someone new who bought the rights to the old name.

Despite the success of the various models and their strong "cult like" following, the company experienced significant upheaval and ownership changes. In addition to the ownership and incorporation changes, the original Monson facility and production equipment became further outdated and dilapidated, and quality began to suffer in some cases. The corporation was initially moved to Palmer Massachusetts, but upon yet another bankruptcy, Bob Serva purchased the corporation and its assets, and moved the group to Norwich NY. During the stay in Palmer, the company became known as Dan Wesson Firearms, whereas previously it had been Dan Wesson Arms.

CZ owns them now. The cylinder on this thing locks up to where it doesn't even budge and has a trigger like silk. It's a tack driver.

I made good use of some of my snow day yesterday. I painted my AR15 "SBR".

Annoy a liberal today. Hit them with facts.
Rustoleum Camo paints. Didn't want to spend the money on Cerakote or Durakote. Plus, rustoleum is easier to fix if you mess up. And it's easier to get that worn in look. I wanted Krylon but it wasn't available.

I loved the 40 round mags before. Even more with the paint.
40 round magazines?

Yep! Thats whats in the photos. Those are particularly fun during "ammo dumps." LOL! I mostly have 30 rounders though. In Tennessee hunting is the only time you can't use "high capacity" mags. I believe the max is 10.
Well here in taxifornia, we are only allowed 10 round magazines.

I am surrounded here by stupid friend-ing liberals.
