So we do not punish the child for the crime of being an illegal as alien.
And we treat that child like every other country on the planet does to children born in their country by foreigners, by not granting automatic citizenship on that child.
The family goes home and the family applies for citizenship in their home country.
A win-win for everyone involved.
And as fair as every other country on earth.

They are criminals.

how are illegals purchasing guns? I have to presume that you liberals that support illegals owning guns do so under the assumption that they obtained them through the very means you people are regularly winning about....

Oh there are some of those. And there are those that are OK with gun ownership but want various degrees of infringements on that right. But the concept of illegals being able to own guns with little or no infringement while an American citizen is expected to ensure background checks at every turn is just absurd and illogical thinking.
