I forgot what the sun looked like until yesterday... 8 days of monsoon with no break.
When you live in a place that gets over 300 days of sunshine a year, this is highly unusual weather!
BUT it makes for some great monsoon pictures.

We had our normal "June Gloom" all of June and we had it all of July. Our sun didn't come out in the day until August.(at the coast) It makes our tomatoes late....we're just starting to get the red ones. Our July was the coolest for like 40 years. I loved it myself, but families who planned CA. vacations in June or July didn't have very good beach weather. Didn't have to run the A.C., so electric bill was decent.

Sounds like our late Fall/Winter here in Florida, except for the lack of sunshine. Our electric bill was so low, though right now we're paying through the nose.

Hey, a trip up to New England to see the leaves changing would be nice. Maybe this is a chick trip though now that I think about it. The guys could go to a Patriots game. And isn't there a lot of Indian gaming places up there too. A side trip to Canada could be fit in too. Quebec is beautiful in the fall. I would love to see the Grandma Moses museum again. Lucked into it when I was there last time. Just goes to show, ANYONE can be an artist. New England is just a ton of stuff to do. Though, I wouldn't mind going on a cruise ANYWHERE as my first pick. (Roatan- high today of 88, low of 79) (heavy sigh)

Leaves in the fall, pro football game, indian casino's, a side trip to Canada. Gee, why should I leave Wisconsin.

A couple years ago, hubby painted the entire interior of our house. To this day, I'll say, "When we painted.....etc." He looks at me strangely like, what's this "we" stuff!!
