People died, people lost their homes and you make light of it...........

Colorado Fires: Two Deaths Reported; 5 Percent Containment : The Two-Way : NPR

Poor taste.

I've got family in Colo. not far from these fires. I ask them, "Doesn't living in a forest full of dry timber scare you?" They say "But is's
so great and pretty living here." Okay fine. But don't cry when your house burns down. Or at least be prepared for it. You live in OK. guess what.
The odds are you're gonna get hit by a tornado. I saw one report where this is the 3rd time some woman got wiped out by a tornado.
I'm not far from the Jersey shore. Had a friend get his vacation home get wiped out. and I mean wiped out off the face of the earth.
I'm sorry for these people, I really am, but for goodness sakes you know what you're getting into.

This Century plant is well over 17 feet tall. It started at the beginning of May and was growing at a rate of 5 to 11 inches a day. It is finally blooming.

Everything is bigger in Texas.
Just because I might have a Texan past, it does not mean that is where I am at after 22 years in Army.

I got out by retirement in another area of the country and, by the Grace of the Most High, was
hired by UPS immediately.

So that corn picture was taken Saturday the 15th of June 2013.

Here is another shot. Name this place / location / state contest time:
