The corner I live in has plenty of trees...

Crop spraying---now that looks like fun. I flew for 3 seasons after I retired with the Mn. Dept of Natural Resources as a fire spotter during our spring and fall "fire season". Lots of low level/tight turn stuff. It was like riding a roller coaster for 7 1/2 hours a day. Loved every minute of it. Unfortunately the DNR management started to micro-manage like UPS does so I had to give it up.

The mail carrier who got murdered in Washington, DC a few months ago was delivering at 7:00 at night.

Ours have been out here when I am only way home at 6:30. They wear a flashlight on their foreheads so they can see. There is no need for them to be on the street that late.

So did the guy that fixed my furnace last week and all the Amish farmers on my old route.

As a matter of fact, we had a few drivers that wore them.

My carrier did this once. I was home all day waiting for it too. I called and raised hell. When they tried giving me the run around I told them I'm a UPS driver and I know what shortcuts are. I want my package. The carrier was "back" within an hour.
