I Voted No

Hope the no voters realize we could end up with a worse contract as the whole process starts over if this doesn't pass. Teamsters may not be willing to fight as hard again when they are so proud of what they got done.
Or they set up a possible mental doom situation with “all of a sudden bad news” to induce yes votes.

We're hearing that here. Ready to strike before, now afraid of one?

Before: We can cripple the company, they can't afford a strike!

Now: We will get laid off if we don't vote yes. The company has all the power! Waaah!

No limit. If UPS is willing to run the company into the ground I'll stand on the street and watch the circus.
I'll need all the rest I can get because I know we'll have nothing but 13 hour days until after peak trying to clean this mess up

There is a portion of the Teamsters membership that voted for SOB not because they believed in his leadership and ability to negotiate a strong contract but rather to have a blank check to go on strike. SOB was merely a vehicle by which to get back at the company for the injustices committed during COVID and beyond.

I'm just not sure exactly what you hope to gain out of this scorched Earth policy. SOB has already said they've squeezed every drop out of the UPS orange. We've got idiots in our center voting no "just to spite UPS."

What sort of mentality is that?
