Without them, we don’t exist. Every one of them contributed to the idea of this nation. No Texas, no nothing whatsoever without them.

My point is that I have honored my grandfathers and grandmothers and believe that retrieving their tradition and beliefs is what we need as a nation.

Many of you haven’t, even if you’re Roman Catholic somewhere down the family line somebody apostatized from the faith and that apostasy is the cause of the problems of our nation. It’s happened in the North and the South. North first and South after the war.

I’ve honored my nation by being a patriotic citizen. My father was a Korean and Nam veteran, my uncle’s we’re WW2 veterans. All Italian Americans. I love this country, and I will fight any er that tries to mess with us.

Yes. And I’m glad that slavery is over and a lot of those great men were a part of ending it! But again were are so anachronistic about this issue. Slaves, indentured servants were part of all civilizations and empires etc. if you study the history of economics this was how you made money and ordered your society but I’m not going to try to reset to 0 a long complicated history of amazing things that happened in Christendom because they didn’t get everything right neither have we and I don’t want future generations to not honor me because I had no political power to change things. And by the way we have murdered more people in the last 80 years from Marxist, Communist ideology then the Catholic faith has.
