I've got Ars, H&ks etc, but something about the oldies I prefer over any firearm. They have character. Sleek and sexy. They're like the muscle cars of guns

Used to be able to pick one up for 50-75 bucks

Even those Norinco sks used to be cheap, now they're $500+, same with Mosins, you could get one for 150 bucks. I paid 200 for my M44 back in 2009.

I got it through the CMP before their stocks of good M1s dried up. Only paid $500 for it back about maybe 5 or 6 years ago.

Beautiful gun. My uncle has an International Harvester garand and I want it. Bad. He won’t part with it. I don’t blame him. I will try to get a picture of it some time. It’s amazing.

Nice. I’d love to get an m1 carbine too. I’m a huge band of brothers fan and I’m really into wwii history. Love the paratroopers. Would love to have a paratrooper m1 carbine.

My goal someday is to own a firearm from every major country in WWII. I’ve got Russia and Germany so far. Had a type 99 arisaka and traded it off for an SKS like an idiot. I wish I still had that arisaka. It was cool. And passed on a carcano like an idiot. Still a ways to go.

The mp40 isn't original unfortunately, I bought one of the GSG Mp40 pistols in 9mm and SBR'd it, and the M14 is a real one with the selector switch that my brother carries in his patrol car he got through a lease from the gov. through the department.

Yeah that's what my thing is. I have everything but Japan, and france I guess. I want an Arisaka but I want one with the chrysanthemum still on it
