I want the Studebaker at the rear.

I had a buddy in High School who's father was a Studebaker-Packard mechanic. He had one of these, that my friend and I put many miles on:

That's the way to buy them. Let someone else spend the tens of thousands of dollars and hundreds of man hours to build it and then you can buy it for a fraction of what they had invested. Hot rods are not a good money making"investment".

Agreed.....but this lil hot rod didn't cost "tens of thousands of dollars" or take "hundreds of man hours" to build. This thing looks right out of the mid-seventies. $5000 tops. The front end is worth more than the rest of the car. Simple, light, and dangerous as hell to street race. Saw a lot of guys get hurt bad in these things. Good cruiser, though.

The guy had just towed this to his house when I saw it. I was going to be a project car. I'm waiting to see how long before it's in the backyard or just sitting in the driveway.
