It wasn't like that when I startedSame. South Eastern. Thought that one was the same everywhere, can’t believe some PT’ers don’t get OT after 5.

It was for me. Circa 2002.It wasn't like that when I started
When I started if you went over 5 hours they had to pay you an 8-hour guarantee. I cannot remember what year they changed itIt was for me. Circa 2002.
You got the better deal. Now if it was time and a half for your whole day once you reached 5, that would be a different story. When I started if you went over 5 hours they had to pay you an 8-hour guarantee. I cannot remember what year they changed it
We get nothing,we should though the job description says 3 and a 1/2 to 4 hours.Same. South Eastern. Thought that one was the same everywhere, can’t believe some PT’ers don’t get OT after 5.
Yeah it seems we dont get overtime after 5. So far since I started we go over 5 hours minimum 3 days out of the week. 1 week it was daily over 5 hours all week. So it would be nice to have that. Our hub seems to be very understaffed. But be sure next contract I will put my proposal in, as well as encouraging my coworkers to do the same. The workers I talked to had no idea that other areas paid overtime after 5.We get nothing,we should though the job description says 3 and a 1/2 to 4 hours.

OT after 5 hours was a penalty for UPS saying they don't have enough work to staff a FT operation. Another Union concession.Same at the hub I’m at. My brother works in Visalia and they get OT after 5. I was real excited to be getting that too. Buuuuut, I’m not.
$2500/wk for a PT job?Where I'm at it's ot after 5 and 6th day is auto ot. Works great since I'm averaging over 50 hours a week.
Thats almost as bad as bidding start times. You're correct, he is in the Southwest sort rider and no there is not OT after 5 hours.
Not really part time anymore if you’re working over 50 hours a week.$2500/wk for a PT job?
A lot of PTers work over 40/hr a week. With Union consent. Not really part time anymore if you’re working over 50 hours a week.
