IMO, re: the Iraq pull out, Obama made this decision all by himself. I can't believe the generals said to pull everybody out and leave no troops in Iraq.. I'm glad the troops will come home. I'm sure it's a campaign stunt on his part. I believe he now realizes that he didn't do what he said he'd do the first year and he's hurrying up and doing it now.

Well, republicans are totally against the withdrawel, so you C-9's better flip-flop soon, along with your party.
Your comment make no sense. Total withdrawal was not a smart tactic. Republicans are not totally against the withdrawal, they are against total withdrawal.....there's a big difference.

Oh well, the republicans can send them back in next year, if they get elected.

With a quick getaway, these people will be right back to their old ways........and Obama could be putting America in harm's way.
It's good the troops will be home, but he's doing it all wrong and he's doing it for his campaign gimmick......unforgivable!

It would be political suicide for whomever the President is in 2013 to send the troops back to Iraq.

Total withdrawal is foolish--we need to leave just enough troops behind to ensure a smooth transition.
A smooth transition...from what to what? Seems like the same old question, "How do we know when we've won?"

Re: Obamanomics

Can't even give me my moment, can you?
Lol. Sorry. Just wouldn't want folks to be too self-absorbed in their own happiness. But never being divorced, I have to ask, is the happiness of each of the parties involved mutually exclusive or in any way diminishing should one or the other have knowledge of the other's happiness?

[h=2]Major BS Alert: Obama Claims He Has Written Personal Checks To Struggling Americans, “It’s Not Something I Should Advertise, But It Has Happened”…[/h]
Obama-Signature.jpg

So he’s not going to advertise it but he’s going to tell a WaPo reporter about it?
WASHINGTON — Got problems? Tell Barack Obama. He can help. He might even give you money.
On more than one occasion, the president has cut personal checks to struggling Americans who’ve written to the White House, according to an excerpt from a new book by Washington Post reporter Eli Saslow about the ten letters the president reads every day.

“It’s not something I should advertise, but it has happened,” the president told Saslow.
How many times has President Obama intervened on someone’s behalf, and with what kind of problems does he help? Mortgage payments? Medical bills? And when he wants to help someone out with a personal check, how does it work? Does he send a check signed “Barack Obama” directly to the individual in need, or does he send the money to a bank or company on the person’s behalf? Do people even know when Obama has helped them out, or does the help arrive anonymously through a lawyer?
