You didn’t know Jesus before you could read?

I believed in Him before I could read.
😂

Someone told you about Jesus dying on the cross because THEY read it in the Bible now you’re just being silly. God himself did not tell you that. He doesn’t need to he has a book for that. You can certainly go on to have a relationship after that.

Obviously the Bible has been involved and part of Christianity for a long time. God doesn’t use people to communicate about Himself, even if they learned of Him through the Bible.?

Is that your belief?

I have obviously learned much about God through the Bible. I have never denied my love for the Bible and it’s usefulness for instruction.

My grandmother was the person who taught me the most about Jesus. She was a devout Catholic, but not much of a Bible reader. I got my first Bible in third grade and I have been reading it regularly since.

OK. Very odd to believe a book that you say isn’t really trustworthy to be believed.

You see this is much different than what you just said a while ago, you said God told you. You don’t speak plainly you don’t speak in a way to be understood. You like to leave things a little bit vague. kudos to your grandmother.. maybe she wasn’t a big reader of the Bible, but apparently she read enough.

I have no narrative I just want the world to know God loves them and doesn’t hate them.

Even if they happen to end up in hell.

God loves you my brethren, and don’t ever forget it.

Even when you are suffering the wrath of your sin.
But you don't feel that it's your responsibility to tell them what to do to not.end up in hell. Just be an example.

I get it. you and I have had some reasonable discussions. Please do not take too much stock in how I feel it necessary to deal with individuals on this thread. I believe you know which two are the most challenging. It’s all good though.

Obviously I believe God speaks through the Bible, I believe he speaks through people, even if they only learned of Him through the Bible. I believe God speaks to creation in various and through various people and various means just not exclusively through the Bible, like others believe maybe you believe that too. You are certainly entitled to believe that you put your faith entirely in the Bible as the sole and exclusive means of God‘s communication to mankind.

I still believe God loves the world and does not hate the world.

I do all the time. Only God’s love received can save.
If missionaries don't go and spread the Gospel in areas where they believe in other Gods then how can they receive God's love? Do you believe that they will go to Heaven? Do you even believe in Hell? That's there's an eternal punishment for nonbelievers? Does God hate them if they are sent to Hell?

God is previous to everything.

I am not a strong proponent of foreign missionary work.

I believe that God alone truly knows who and who won’t be in heaven.

Yes.

Yes.

No.

So if the Apostle Paul lists the sins that will cause you to lose your soul you say not so fast, you may still get into Heaven even if you live a life of sin. Only God knows...

And if Jesus says no man comes to the Father except through him, that he's the door and if anyone tries to enter by any other way he's a thief and a robber, you say not so fast, only God knows who gets in. It's not your responsibility to tell others even though Jesus said to go into all the world and spread the Gospel to every living creature.

If you continue to live a life of sin have you truly received God’s love.

Well, somehow, I think he actually believes what he say. 🤷‍♂️
