I believe Jesus is the “gate” All of my hope and trust is in Him alone.

Do you believe Jesus is the “gate”?
Not in that particular story, that wide gate leads to destruction that is not where Jesus leads he the way and it is narrow.
The fact that you have not felt the narrowness and uncomfortableness proves you have not been there.

Hopefully someday you will
Happy new year

Since you are struggling with Jesus as “the gate” then what is your understanding of this narrow gate?

Is it the bible?

I’m not struggling. He is the way. The Bible talks about him being the door even a gate, but just not in this particular story.. the wide gate you are entering leads to damnation. I suspect you will fail to realize this is the path on until it’s too late unfortunately.

Damnation is not Jesus choice for you. It is the choice you make for yourself. you do not follow his way. You have separated yourself from him on your own and made your own little religion.

As a human and a Christian, we are told it will be hard if it’s not hard we’re probably doing something wrong.

I know of no wide gate as you describe. I know of only “the gate, Jesus Christ my Lord. My understanding is that He is the narrow gate that is meant in what you are trying to describe.

I sometimes do.

Do you believe Jesus is “the gate”?
Don't recall you quoting anything as long as Tozar or Murray quotes.

Of course I believe Jesus is the gate. But when Jesus was speaking of wide is the gate and then strait is the gate he wasn't referring to himself but the right and wrong paths people choose with most choosing the wide path that leads to destruction. Of course you believe no matter what people do they'll go to heaven anyways. Have you discussed with Jesus why he's wrong about this?

He really needs to figure out why Jesus told so many lies. Maybe he could ask the Holy spirit? The holy spirit tells him something different than my Jesus says.

I understand and believe the book different from you as you do I.

Yes, It describes the gate as Jesus.
Not the wide gate that you’re walking through.

You actually don’t understand the book at all. You do not follow Christ teachings. You actually reject them if they don’t fit your narrative. You are not a Christian you are something else.
