Yes and no.Do you believe the Bible is Gods holy infallible word?
Yes and no.Do you believe the Bible is Gods holy infallible word?
The “answer” I expectedYes and no.
Yes, and noDo you believe Jesus is the “gate” ?
I believe Jesus is the “gate” All of my hope and trust is in Him alone.Of Course you haven’t, you don’t enter the narrow gate.
The “answer” I expected
Not in that particular story, that wide gate leads to destruction that is not where Jesus leads he the way and it is narrow.I believe Jesus is the “gate” All of my hope and trust is in Him alone.
Do you believe Jesus is the “gate”?
Since you are struggling with Jesus as “the gate” then what is your understanding of this narrow gate? Not in that particular story, no leads to destruction that is not where Jesus leads he the way and it is narrow.
The fact that you have not felt the narrowness and uncomfortableness proves you have not been there.
Hopefully someday you will
Happy new year
I’m not struggling. He is the way. The Bible talks about him being the door even a gate, but just not in this particular story.. the wide gate you are entering leads to damnation. I suspect you will fail to realize this is the path on until it’s too late unfortunately.Since you are struggling with Jesus as “the gate” then what is your understanding of this narrow gate?
Is it the bible?
Don't see you quoting long sections of the Bible.I give any authors of the manuscripts that are compiled as the Bible the exact same consideration that I give the likes of Lewis, Murray, Tozer, et al.
I know of no wide gate as you describe. I know of only “the gate, Jesus Christ my Lord. My understanding is that He is the narrow gate that is meant in what you are trying to describe.I’m not struggling. He is the way. Damnation is not Jesus choice for you. It is the choice you make for yourself. you do not follow his way. You have separated yourself from him on your own and made your own little religion.
As a human and a Christian, we are told it will be hard if it’s not hard we’re probably doing something wrong.
I sometimes do.Don't see you quoting long sections of the Bible.
No that is not what I meant. The yes part is what one likes.
The no part is what one doesn't like.
I'm looking for the verse that allows one to do that.
I didn’t describe it. The book you say, you don’t really believe described it.I know of no wide gate as you describe. I know of only “the gate, Jesus Christ my Lord. My understanding is that He is the narrow gate that is meant in what you are trying to describe.
Don't recall you quoting anything as long as Tozar or Murray quotes.I sometimes do.
Do you believe Jesus is “the gate”?
He really needs to figure out why Jesus told so many lies. Maybe he could ask the Holy spirit? The holy spirit tells him something different than my Jesus says.Don't recall you quoting anything as long as Tozar or Murray quotes.
Of course I believe Jesus is the gate. But when Jesus was speaking of wide is the gate and then strait is the gate he wasn't referring to himself but the right and wrong paths people choose with most choosing the wide path that leads to destruction. Of course you believe no matter what people do they'll go to heaven anyways. Have you discussed with Jesus why he's wrong about this?
He knows better than us what God really wants because God told him. I sense narcissism. He really needs to figure out why Jesus told so many lies. Maybe he could ask the Holy spirit? The holy spirit tells him something different than my Jesus says.
I understand and believe the book different from you as you do I.I didn’t describe it. The book you say, you don’t really believe described it.
Not the wide gate that you’re walking through.I understand and believe the book different from you as you do I.
Yes, It describes the gate as Jesus.
Difference is I believe what is written and try to live my life accordingly. You see something you disagree with, like those lost in sin will lose their souls, and you choose to not believe it.I understand and believe the book different from you as you do I.
Yes, It describes the gate as Jesus.
