and is basically just a political activist, and relying on that if he does what he feels is good works then that is what will get him (and you) to heaven. So sad.
his dad was a minister too.

chris hedges also taught at america's "top schools" and even prisons for the oppressed

it should be common sense my friend. read verses in the bible. it says you must act justly.

if theyre religious then no. its a complicated question because some people have most of their wealth in housing, and if the housing market goes up and destroys the middle class, should they sell their house and move somewhere cheaper. seems kinda absurd.

you have to use your common sense vantexan. logically before you die you have to figure it out how much wealth is biblically acceptable and then let god be the judge.
Again, you're making up religion as you go. You think they're multimillionaires mostly from real estate? Even in California a $5 million dollar home is a very nice home. Hardly the home of a socialist. Unless said socialist is using his platform to make a lot of money. Closet capitalists.

He taught in "prisons for the oppressed?" He didn't go to the ones for regular criminals? Can you name some of these prisons where they house the oppressed?

im not making it up i quote 3 ministers. they dont agree with whoever you listen to

housing is insane you never know. hedges was between 1 to 15 million. 1 million could easily be a house.

and yet he is still just a political activist at heart. A rich one too

My whole issue with you is not that you are trying to do good, but that you say you are doing it in the name of Jesus and that you can achieve salvation simply by doing good works. That's just false teaching and giving people a false sense of salvation when, in the end, will leave them with a life separated from Christ

How'd he pay for that house? Did he pluck it off the money tree? Closet capitalists.

he told the truth against hte satanic iraq war and lost his job at hte ny times because they only allow neutral or pro war stances.

when you stand with the oppressed you are eventually treated like them.

he was also arrested for protesting greedy wall street bankers and evil wars. this is the path we must all take to lead the good life.

again, all actions made with good intent, yet shouldn't be done in the quest for salvation

just because you earn income doesnt make you a capitalist

slave masters earned money too
Does he work for someone? Or in business for himself? Where does the money come from? If he puts out literature soliciting contributions and uses said contributions to buy a nice home, nice car, and puts money into investments he's a capitalist. You can find homes everywhere for less than a million. He's a millionaire.
