I can enjoy George Orwell literary work while understanding the man George Orwell was a complete fool in his own life. Same with Chris Hedges.

“George Orwell was on the side of pacifism in the late 1930s, but in the 1940s he felt that to be a pacifist was to be on the side of Hitler. He placed a famously large premium on truth, though he also felt that lies were justifiable for political ends (as his diaries make clear, he was certainly prepared to spread false information for the BBC during the Second World War). If this was hypocritical, then even his views on hypocrisy were two-faced: it was politically benign, but it was also vicious.”

George Orwell was the case of a gentleman that was a socialist who wrote books about what happens in socialist and communist societies. Very conflicted and confused man. The very type of government he supported would help bring about the visions of his writings.
I think animal farm was about the counter revolution in russia

It starts off with worker control but turns into something anti democratic

At the root of the Christian life, wise belief in the invisible. The object of the Christian’s faith is unseen reality.
The crap you post is so useless. It's blow. Wise belief in the invisible? Unseen reality?
It's like , yeah man, let's burn a joint so I san keep this spiritual nothing going.
Wait. I need to say this so I'm covered. IMO

god is dead
I've gone through this just things with my kids. When my boys came to me I consulted with my pastor to ask them if he felt they were old enough to understand what it meant. We determined that they were and proceeded to walk them through the entire salvation process. My daughter never gave her life to Christ and is no longer alive so I feel I failed her, but as to when accepting Christ and being formally accepted with the church, then sure.
Let me help alleviate that. Your daughter went where we are all going. She isn’t lesser because she didn’t join a cult.

You are welcome.

Ok. You don’t have to believe it, God gives you that freedom. Unseen reality is clearly supported by the written religious texts that you worship and idolize.

Peace be with you my brethren.

God is the great All, His presence is the glory and wonder of my life. May He be your All as He draws you to Him and enables your surrender.

Peace be with you!

Only three ways divine intervention happens that I know of.
1. Through @Integrity
2. Miraculous.
3. Natural (providential)
Since the miraculous age, including direct communication, ended 2000 years ago, we are all living in a time when God uses natural means to accomplish his will and care for us.
