Rittenhouse Trial

I'm wondering if a guy is trying to bash your head in, another is pulling a pistol, and you have a gun and believe you are about to be at the very least gravely injured, do you tell yourself that you have it coming because you shouldn't have been there to begin with? Do you just let them harm you, even kill you?
There was no reason for him to be there at all let alone being armed with a military style assault rifle. I feel sorry for him but he made some bad choices. I doubt if he gets life but he will spend time behind bars.

Doesn't matter. If he didn't have that gun you would've never heard of him other than he was one of those killed or seriously injured in the 2020 riots.

No one was killed in Kenosha Wisconsin other then the 2 killed by Kyle Rittenhouse. And if he hadn't traveled from out of state they would still be alive.

And again, if he had tried to put out that fire and was attacked for it but didn't have the gun those who attacked him would have seriously harmed him if not killed him. You keep talking about him making bad decisions but it was their decision to attack him that got them killed. If they had turned and walked away they'd be alive. You talk as if it was their right to burn things and their right to hurt anyone who stood in their way.

Awful lot of " ifs" in that statement. What legal authority did a 17 year old have to be there with a military style assault rifle? He didn't even live in the community.

Inordinately Right
A 17 year old kid was attacked by a child molester. He shot the child molester in the groin, and he bled out in the street and died like a bitch. Exactly what he deserved.

Democrats are upset by this glorious karma.
Tells you all you need to know.

He had the moral authority as an American patriot to stand up to literal communist rioters
I don't think vigilantes is a legal defense. There already was trained law enforcement on site. How do you feel that a 17 year old with an illegally obtained military assault rifle was going to help. Obviously he turned a bad situation worse.

The question is did he defend himself from bodily harm? If they want to charge him for carrying that gun or any other type of gun that's fine but it's a separate charge from whether he committed murder or acted in self defense.
