That you, Upstate?Deja Vu... I got a silver one.
Watch out for the steel oil pan. It's exposure to the road salt during winter months will eat it away. I had to get a replacement when I did it's first oils change as the 2nd owner
Small side view mirrors... had to get blind spot mirrors
Tune up & dmv inspection sticker is due this month...
Timing chains need replace about every 100,000 miles (sooner on some vehicles). And it isn't cheap. I was quoted something like $3,000 on a VW Passat---got rid of that POS as soon as I could.Nope, however I did make a joke about buying his car for my daughter...
Retire as young as possible he said!
P.S. I thot timing chains would last for the vehicle's life.... saw a YouTube video about changing it on this car
Same for BMW.Gotta buy two. One to drive while the other is in the shop.
Is this DAVE?Leased me an Altima.

Good videos on YT on that subject.Ugh I think most German cars are a pita ,timing belt is just as bad on my BiLs Audi a6... u got to remove the front nose to work on it.
Yup, my timing chain guides wore out before the chain itself on my Nissan 240sx... but since I'm going to take it apart, may as well change the gears and tensioner as well as the seals.Nothing lasts forever
