They finally figured out that it wasn't cost effective to pay drivers just to go out and get stuck and not deliver anything. Not sure why it took so long.

only a few inches, at the moment. making it to work would be long and arduous.
after they pull us from the road, and i go to head home there will be a foot. the drive HOME will be impossible. idgaf about little suzie's Amazon socks, or Boomer Gary's insulin, my safety comes before anyone or anything (except my family. they always come first).

oh, i also will not be reporting on an unscheduled day of work saturday.

i have ZERO days till may. and i could care less.

i didnt call out. i could not safely make it to work in the present conditions. as a card carrying DOT driver, i have the duty, obligation and responsibility to make these calls.

We're operating today but they called the top 40 or so drivers and said we can stay home since routes are light. Lots of trailers that didn't make it. I predict multiple towings today as the poor cover drivers get stuck left and right.
