Ive also seen the company refuse to promote people even though they need to.

And???? A fully explained point would be appreciated.I waited 5 years to be a Pk driver
Our wait time is less than 3 months for probably the last year.
She claims 80% of the country already has some sorta part time temp/cover/utility driver? Anybody really know the true number ?
What about the part where he says “grow some”? That guy MaTT is a joke.Hadn't seen the Matt video prior to this.
The glaring concession that I get from him is the issue of 22.4s taking work that would ordinarily be done on Monday by RPCDs. Matt brings up at 7:50 "when work is available" and says "I don't know what that is supposed to mean." EXACTLY!! That is the problem. It is not clearly defined and will be exploited. Fix it, don't just say "whatever" and move on. Then it gets worse IMO. He says the NorCal supplement addresses this by allowing a RPCD to displace 2 part timers at drivers rate should they not have work on Monday. Or....they can bump into Saturday. Well, now aren't we back to where we started, RPCDs driving on weekends? That was what 22.4 was supposed to eliminate, right? So now we have RPCDs working weekends, and we allowed a 2nd class driver position in at $6 less. That is nothing but a concession! The other option, bump 2 part timers...now you've turned my full time driving job into a quasi-part-time/full-time position in order to give my work to what was previously a part timer? What the hell is that?
His continuous use of the phrase "I don't have a problem with that" just plain bothers me. He is saying plain and simple, this particular issue doesn't really affect me, so not my problem.
Oh, and Matt's parting note, UPS always has, and always will harrass you. We're not even going to bother trying to fix that. SMH!
It's that way now. I have seen some get a bid in six months and some six years depending on the circumstancesOne of the big problems for 22.4s, if this contract passed, is if they are in a center with a young full time work force, it could be many years until someone retires that they could replace.
Our top ten drivers all have over thirty years inIt's that way now. I have seen some get a bid in six months and some six years depending on the circumstances
What's is your thoughts on what is bad vs an alternative?the alternative of going back to the table.I can assure you that almost no part timer with 3 or more years is happy with this contract no matter who is explaining this horrible contract.
What would the company want in returnWhat's is your thoughts on what is bad vs an alternative?the alternative of going back to the table.
How many drivers would work 70 hrs a week?during peak the hours go up but that is for a few weeks after all that is what we do provide a service during our Christmas rushNowhere did Tyler claim he wanted a 401k over a pension. Very few (if any) drivers want to work 70 hour weeks even if they can "pay for Christmas in one day."
This video is a ing joke. I'll trust the rank and file over Rick H's paid hack any day of the ing week.
Theyll want to know how far down the tube their stock will flow if we strike. What would the company want in return
We have them and most like it or they would not stick aroundShe claims 80% of the country already has some sorta part time temp/cover/utility driver? Anybody really know the true number ?
