No you signed up for the job. Take a little ownership. If I am correct that language was there before you even started at UPS. I personally did not sign up for cover driver for the reasons you stated and waited for the RPCD job. Some people needed the money and got more pay and progression credits than me while I waited. It is a choice and nothing pushed on to anyone.I get your points but I saw how Cover Drivers ruined my building so I can see their points also. If Flemings numbers are correct, 20% of the country doesn't have a 2 tier driver. Ours were pushed on us by our supplementals. Now they are trying to force every one to have them. So if they want to vote No then that's up to them.

I have already explained it a million times.So now there's a 3rd tier. How's that better than a 1 tier system?

There actually are benefits to them if you use it correctly. Like jumping pay progression read this postAnyone delivering packages that's not a RPCD is removing work from RPCDs. That work leads to new RPCD jobs.
If there was no TCD position I'd posit that they'd have won a RPCD job. Isnt that better than a TCD job? Does the same thought apply to 22.4 jobs? Isn't this creating a 2nd or 3rd tier?
not true.22.4 drivers, as full timers, will have pick over part timers for new full time openings. That will apply to RPCDs. If you want to be an RPCD you will need to be a 22.4 first. That's a choice people will be pushed into.

True. Actually. I've read the contract.
Reread my post I was having trouble uploading an imageList some of these benefits to being a tcd or 22.4. Would you consider changing classifications? If not, how does that reflect your position?
Where? Some areas don't even have the choice they either have to go 22.4 or never become a RPCD. Congratulations you didn't have to do that not everybody is as lucky as you.

I trust you I would like to see it though. Thanks, I’m about to watch some football too. It's been discussed on here and I'll gladly look it up for you once I'm off work. I thought it was BS also to be honest till I saw the language.
Till then trust me it's the truth.
