So with that said, Amazon just ordered 20,000 delivery, sprinter vans (with AC no doubt), this 20,000 is in addition to their already large fleet. THESE ARE NON UNION JOBS!

I searched the number of cities in the U.S. with a population of 25,000 or more and it's right at 1500 cities.

You all are playing with fire....
We've heard this all before...
RPS is coming for your work, non-union. FedEx Ground is coming for your work, non-union. Every contract there is a boogeyman out there that should have us trembling with fear and cowering to the UPS overlords that so graciously allow our existence.

Um, just stop.

You ever watched the movie titled; 'It's a Wonderful Life' ??? where George Bailey says "Hey Brainless..."

RPS is FedEx Ground and when it started in 1985 it would of got decimated in
8-short years MAX from the pride and work ethic of The UPS Teamsters. However, management was a free for all back then. Anything goes... cover their butt and they intentional rode the BEST UPS employees money could buy, which in turn fed into RPS and later FedEx turned into one of UPS's biggest competitors. If UPS didn't harass employees in the 80's they the mid-90's that were 4-ticks over FXG wouldn't be here today. Guaranteed. It was UPS who made FXG happen and Fred S has been laughing about it every since. I KNOW!

Now a strike on the best contract you could possible get is going to grow Amazon into a 600lb delivery gorilla and you won't be able to go back! Why is that you say...(see the George Bailey quote)

TYLER is RUINING LIVES at UPS!

If they were smart they would have an opt in or out ability with insurance. Some married couples or people under 26 don’t need the insurance. Think if someone could take a couple grand a year instead of insurance if they were already covered. Talk about a win/win. Would have the potential to save a ton of money.
You do realize what that would do to the overall plan, right???

I do, because it’s a scam. Don’t tell me this company is paying me x amount in benefits bs. If that was true everyone would be better off if they didn’t “pay” you in health benefits that you’re not using. Teamcare sucks.

Why would you want disposable income that you could spend on food and housing, which your lacking. when you can have this wonderful benefits package and boast your total compensation per hour? I go home early just so mine rises!

No, it's "insurance", an age old premise where people pool their money together to "insure" nobody is left behind in times of need.

I personally pay thousands of dollars a year to insure my home and vehicles and haven't made a claim in over a decade.

....and that's fine with me.
Hopefully it stays that way.

See, the notion of "insurance" simply won't work, if only sick and accident-prone people bought it.

I'm just going to say it. If UPS allowed me to cannibalize my health plan and turn it into a weekly bonus AND I had the option of rejoining the plan. I'd totally take it.

Poor system, if you’re never going to use it because your spouse has better insurance you should be able to opt out and save money. Not about not getting sick. If the company contributes x amount of money for me for insurance and I have another way of getting insurance, does it make sense for the company to waste that money on me?

Speaking of which
I had the system flip a regular ground package and redirect it to the post office address.
Good address
Been there countless times
And yet it mysteriously gets sent to the post office
Seemed a little suspicious to me
Haha....I did my own version of the redirect. I delivered it where it was should have gone

I don’t even want to know how much volume a year we are giving to our competition the post office...it’s total bs
And our BA is sitting on 30 grievances that were filed for the last year.

All of them have been heard at the local level.

None have been docketed to the state panel.

This is what we pay $94 a month for. That's why we're sick of it.
