My last truck came with an "easy lowering" tailgate. While under warrantee I had it fixed 4 times. The last time I had it fixed was 3 days before the warrantee ran out. That lasted about a week and it broke again. Now it's just a normal tailgate.

Living in the Sierra Subaru is the go to vehicle for snow and ice and mpg. Have had them for over 20 years.
But in the last 4 years have had Toyota's and I like them better mainly because they are easier to work on.

Most of my Subies have gone over 300k miles. Can't complain there.
My Taco has only 208k miles on it and our 2007 Rav4 only has 38k miles on it.

May be the last vehicles we will need. But may treat ourselves to a new Toyota someday.
