I roll my eyes at the guys on these bike-builder shows. All these guys are too cool to dress for the job. Welding in T shirts, etc. How else would you see their cool tattoos?

What ever happened to American Chopper? Did one or both of the Tuttles go bankrupt? I know they were having serious problems after building those fancy stors and shops.

The knock sensor could be installed either on top of the block flange or into one of the water jacket drain holes. I prefer to have them at the back because the plastic for the harness connector gets fried to a crisp by the exhaust.

You want a toe? I can get you a toe.
It's right above the starter. I broke it when I put the new starter in awhile back.

Honestly what's the knock sensor do? I haven't the slightest.

It senses detonation shock waves and sends a signal to the ESC module which reduces spark advance to make the detonation go away. You can watch it work by putting a timing light on it while running and whacking the block with a hammer.
