Retired 23 years
This guy is 90 years old. He is running his jet go-kart at the drag strip close to me this weekend. He was 89 when this video was made. I believe he was clocked at 154 mph on this run.

An Eastern European copy of a Fiat. What could possibly go wrong? I still see them on very rare occasions. Same goes for Pintos and Chevettes.

Vegas weren't bad cars. Not good either though. Rusted out pretty quickly and they had lousy aluminum block engine as standard. If I remember correctly it was a major process to do any maintenance on them. That may have been the car you had to pull the engine just to change the spark plugs.

I heard Buick V6s worked nicely in them.

I had a '71. GM replaced the front fenders under warranty even though I bought it used. Not a bad driving car, not quite a sports car, but way more fun than the typical sedan of the era.

Maintenance was a pice of cake. Everything was accessible. The problem with the engine was the aluminum block didn't play nice with the cast iron head.
