Maybe a "2 Lane Blacktop" tribute car.
2LB was a 55 and Race's is a 56 but otherwise.........
Here is a 55 that was driven on the HotRod Power Tour this year. I like the name.

How about gloss black like Falfa's ride in American Graffiti?
(But that big-a**ed blower sticking through the hood.)
It definitely will be gloss black. I've never gone for the patina look. If you have to temporarily drive in primer or flat, then so be it, but I like gloss and chrome. Yeah, I did/do like the "Black Top" '55 and Hot Rod's "BlaspHemi", but,if mine, I'd like to see paint on em one day.
When choosing wheels for the Camaro, everybody, I mean, EVERYBODY, tried to talk us into black wheels. Now, you know all we see....Camaros with black wheels. Didn't want that. Sure, chrome wheel are a little old fashioned but not for me.

By the way, you may have a cracked or leaking exhaust manifold causing the lean fault.Chasing a lean bank 1 code right now. First plan was clean the MAF but damn tamper proof torx got in the way. Lol
Can you believe I just ordered over $700 in tools and tamper proof torx wasn't in that order. Oh well always willing to buy more tools.
Yeah. I'm hoping its just the MAF or O2 sensor. Although it sounds like I have an exhaust leak. If my damn cousin would get his two post lift in i would check it out. LolBy the way, you may have a cracked or leaking exhaust manifold causing the lean fault.
Just don't use 4 jack stands! You could die! LOL!Yeah. I'm hoping its just the MAF or O2 sensor. Although it sounds like I have an exhaust leak. If my damn cousin would get his two post lift in i would check it out. Lol
On the other hand the vehicle was my high school graduation gift. Maybe I should give up on it.
And now it's old tech. LolEFI was a new thing when I graduated.
