Stay away from that one -----"needs some loving" usually means its been neglected to the point its falling apart.
Prisoners? Check the brake lines to see if they have been cut or a stick of dynamite has been wired to the ignition.

Funny, I just saw the Jeep Wrangler listed among "cars" to avoid. They were knocking it for not being what it wasn't.Jeeps had a near monopoly on 4-wheel drive off roading for so long they didn't need to worry about quality or reliability. They were weekend toys and not daily drivers.
